OOTD
Thanks! Started a new job about 6 weeks ago and it’s been super stressful and time consuming. Still keeping up with my protein, water and exercise, but it’s been a transition for sure!

What’s a food you actually miss? Mine is a sub sandwich. I want one with a huge roll, meat, cheese, mayo, etc!

Ankle surgery anyone?
6 weeks for the actual break I believe. I ended up with an infection though, so it was two surgeries.

Freaking out a little bit
Still way too early, give your body some time. It just had major surgery and needs some time to adjust

When to schedule- desperate for advice about recovery time
It’s wasn’t the pain for me, I actually had very little pain/complications. It was just the fatigue that followed. It took me a good 4-6 weeks to get my energy back. Maybe it was just me though ??♀️

When to schedule- desperate for advice about recovery time
I’m a teacher, had the bypass! Please wait until the summer, I know it’s hard but there’s no way I could have returned to teaching 2-3 weeks afterward. Feel free to message me if you have questions

Fkn up Already - 1 week post op
Grab you meal plan (should probably consist of liquids at the moment) and follow it. That’s the only way this is going to work for you. Trust the process and no more breadsticks. Eating foods like that right after major surgery is actually dangerous. If you need help, reach out to your surgeons office, nutritionist or therapist

Fish & chips?

Fingers and toes numb
So after losing 130+ pounds, I’m always cold...but tonight I attended a football game, I was dressed appropriately for the 43° weather. I had on gloves and boots but my fingers and toes went completely numb. It took nearly an hour, once we left the game, for the feeling to fully return. How am I going to survive winter this year if I can’t even tolerate fall weather??? ?
