I don't know what I am doing!
What do you mean by full diet?

To go to ER or wait?!?!?
Probably irritated your pouch. Hi bad to fluids/purées for a day or so
-
Am I doing this all wrong?
Fluids aren’t really going to give you that “full” feeling. Once you start food, you’ll feel it

DOES POUCH SIZE MATTER?
No clue, he never told me and I didn’t ask.

Binge eating-14 months after surgery
Go back to your nutritionist, counselor, psychologist, etc. Binge eating is a compulsion and needs to be treated as such. You can’t just will your way out of it

Gained exactly 10 lbs since surgery yesterday
They pumped you full of air and liquids

Thought I wanted the sleeve, Doc recommends RNY
Both are major surgeries! It blows my mind that people still think the sleeve is the “easier” surgery. if you have any problems with Gerd then Bypass is your best option, otherwise you’ll most likely need a revision anyway

I think I made a big mistake

Miserable 5 days post op
You are in the worst part right now. You’re in pain, can’t eat, lonely, regretful. It gets better, so much better. Give it another week and you’ll feel 80% better then you do right now. Go for a walk, enjoy some sunshine!

Constipation
You just had your surgery, so chances are, you aren’t eating much, so there’s not much poo

How' s. That Blood Pressure Doing Now?
Mine has been super low as well, following surgery. I do get dizzy when I stand up too quickly or get overheated. IDK if there’s much we can do though. I do drink 80oz of water per day. It might not be enough, but I have a REALLY hard time drinking water as it is

Weirdest things you are looking forward to after surgery
I changed placements at work (I’m a special education teacher who is contracted out to work in hospitals, private schools, specialized programs, etc) so it’s been odd to meet all these new people that never knew me when I was big. They must just think this is what I look like. It’s strange to think that

Vomiting for days - can't even keep down water
Same happened to me and the surgical team also wasn’t very helpful. I ended up toughing it out, but I probably should have gone to the ER/urgent care for fluids

Isopure unflavored???
I bought a new one today (bulletproof maybe) and I returned to isopure
-
I was not ready for the pre-op diet and messed up first day
You’ll be fine...but if you’re not ready, you’re not ready. You can delay you surgery if you want
