  1. my doctor just switched me from the bariatric fusion chewable vitamins to the bariatric fusion capsules because the chewables were making me nauseous and sick, did this happen to anybody else? it’s been 4 months since i’ve had surgery and the first month i was okay but then little by little i was getting sicker and sicker. i tried all the different flavors but just could not stomach them. i’m also considering trying the bariatric fusion hair skin and nail vitamins- has anybody tried those and noticed a difference?
  2. what about soup? i’m 2 months out and i basically live off of soup. i just get one with no pasta and lots of veggies in it. gives you liquid and some food! this week i tried ritz crackers with it also. as far as drinking i had the same thing happen to me with the water tasting funny and i started buying the crystal light ice tea and i can’t get enough of it! it tastes so good. do you have the problem where you can still only take like small sips or one gulp at a time before it feels like it’s coming back up? that’s my biggest problem when it comes to drinking. also i was very dehydrated and my doctor recommended the sugar free powerade at least once a day to replenish some electrolytes. hope this helps and congrats on your surgery! it’s not easy but it’s getting easier!!
  3. so i had my surgery on 10/3/19 and so far i’ve lost about 70lbs.. does that seem like the right number for 2 months out? i feel like maybe it’s not enough and i’m feeling a little insecure about it. i follow the diet to a T. a

  6. how soon after surgery were you able to travel by plane? i’m 6 weeks out and o have a trip planned in February. just wondering what everyone else experienced
  7. diet cranberry is what i drank all the time and then crystal light packs in my water bottle like the lemon ice tea
  8. how far out from surgery are you?? i’m 6 weeks out and i’m dying for a seltzer water.
  9. the first 2 weeks were so tough for me, i feel your pain! i really survived off of protein shakes and greek yogurt. not the best food choices but they did the job. my biggest problem was drinking enough fluids. i’m at 5 weeks post op and i just got cleared for soft solid foods and it hasn’t been all that great so far but i wish you luck!
  10. i’m 4 weeks post surgery. i’m still on my purée diet. tonight i added a little sauce (1/8tsp) and about a half hour later threw it all back up. is this what it’s going to be like every time o try anew stuff?? ugh

  13. has anybody tried carbonated drinks after surgery? if so how long after surgery did you wait to try and was it successful? i LOVE seltzer water and can’t wait to have it again lol
  14. you could try sugar free powerade! i was recently told by my doctor that i was dehydrated and to drink 2 a day and honestly i do feel better now. but i also do the sf crystal light
  15. i eat an oikos triple zero yogurt every morning. there’s 15 grams of protein in 5pz so it’s a good deal if you’re that far into your post surgery diet!

  18. i had surgery on october 3rd. i go for my 2 week post op apmt on wednesday. so i’m not sure how much weight i’ve lost but i was on an all liquid diet 2 weeks before surgery and then after surgery was 1oz of purée every 2.5-3hs and as of yesterday i upgraded to 2oz 4-6 times a day. it’s been pretty rough so far but it’ll all be worth it!
