why am I so thirsty

Hi everyone . I I’m 11 weeks post op after a bypass , and. think I’ve got a mild dose of flu after having a flu injection. I can’t eat , but am constantly thirsty , but can only take sips of fluids , does anyone have any ideas please ?

    When I've had trouble tolerating water due to nausea, I've eaten sugar-free popsicles, which provide fluids -- not a lot, but still better than foregoing.

    you could try sugar free powerade! i was recently told by my doctor that i was dehydrated and to drink 2 a day and honestly i do feel better now. but i also do the sf crystal light

Try crystal light sf, that’s how I make myself drink my water but putting flavor in my water. One packet I put in 40oz so it’s not too sweet
