  1. I just made a recipe last night that had me squeeze the extra moisture out of cooked spinach. That's what brought it to mind. It might help.
  2. Do you press the chopped cucumbers in paper towels to drain moisture?
  3. I get the jerky online, perkyjerky.com
  4. Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. It will be interesting to hear about someone doing it with their significant other - at the same time! For me: pre-op - 12.6 1 mo. post op - 30.6 total 4 mo. post op - 68.6 total 6 mo. post op - 83.4 total 1 yr. post op - 120.0 total 1 yr. + 1 week post op - hit goal 150#, total loss of 122.6
  5. I did Protein20, as well. I diluted it 50/50 with ice water. Sam's Club carries this brand.
  6. Before surgery, I shared only with those people I felt sure would be supportive. (This did not include my MIL). The rest found out later. It's entirely your choice.
  7. We have all found products that have helped us along our weight-loss journey. I thought it would be great to share some of our favorites. I am not a great fan of protein, but Perky Jerky has been my salvation! The meats are low-fat, low-carb, tender and flavorful. Some even come in convenient 1 oz. bags (for under $2) that you can throw in a purse or backpack. They're having a 4th of July sale and I just bought some and wanted to let the rest of you know about it.
  8. Cheeseburger wontons with air fryer friesno afters
  9. It has been my experience that you will be drowning in leftovers for the rest of your life! ?
  10. Only you could ever need that much yogurt!
  11. I had to Google them. Very interesting, might have to give them a try.
  12. I usually let it steep a LOT longer.
  13. Yum! We're having lamb chops tonight! I wish they were being served in Iceland!
  14. OK, I'll bite - what is that thing in the upper left (after pic) that looks like a very "cellulity" butt?
  15. Bourbon chicken, rice and cucumber/tomato salad. The tomatoes were fresh from my neighbor's garden. I was feeling way too ambitious and overloaded my salad plate. I ate all the chicken and most of the rice but only a little of the salad. Hubby took care of the afters
  16. Congratulations and thanks for all your inspiring and encouraging posts as well as the fun challenges! I've been on here since Apr '18, about 6 weeks after my surgery. Wish I'd found the site sooner!
  17. That's excellent! But you really can't compare. Some people hold on to swelling much longer than others.
  18. Yes, that's a good idea. She and @GreenTealael are IF gurus!
  19. @JennieJuniper You might try out this thread on intermittent fasting. Quite a few people have been using it with success. Good luck.
