  1. I would. They may not be able to do anything, but at least you'll know you tried.
  2. This is the main reason I haven't really tried IF. I would have to depend heavily on supplements or foods with supplements added and I'd rather not do that.
  3. I'm still lucky to down 2 oz. of lean meat at a sitting!
  4. Lots of us had "food funerals" right before we started the pre-op diet. It's a type of mourning, I think. Even though people have told you that you'll eventually be eating normal foods again, it will be a while. I don't think people who had these funerals did any worse long-term than anyone else.
  5. I was never a chugger, but I could drink at a normal pace within a few days (maybe a week?) of surgery and I'm a big drinker, around a gallon a day.
  6. Have you been tracking measurements? Are your pants looser? How about your belt? You can be losing significant inches without the scale moving. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's common. Sometimes your body just needs a "breather". If you haven't taken any measurements yet, take them now and update at least once a month. They help to keep you motivated at times like this. Good luck!
  7. I am impressed. I don't think I've ever managed 46g of protein in one sitting! What was it?
  8. Good to hear from you! I saw one of your older posts the other day and wondered how you were doing. Have you checked out the intermittent fasting thread? Some of the posters have had good luck breaking stalls with it.

You can now return Amazon purchases at Kohls, too. They package and ship for free. ? Good to hear about Nordstrom's. I need to try some of their stuff.

    Yeah!!!
  12. Welcome, Vance and vent freely! I am so lucky that I haven't run into any doctors that are such d1cks as the ones you both describe!
  13. Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and an easy recovery! Best tip: Don't compare yourself to others!

    Love those colors! So pretty!
  17. Just make sure he's got other things to focus on! kwim? ?
  18. Is it hot? Is it red? Is it still painful hours later? If the answers are no, you're probably fine, maybe just pulled an internal stitch. If the answer to any of those is yes, see if there is someone on-call for your surgeon's office. When was your surgery?
  19. Welcome to the site! The community here is helpful and friendly, just dive right into any thread that interests you!

Keep! Keep! I almost bought those, too! Palazzo pants need to be a bit loose, otherwise they look like a '50s skirt! These look perfectly "flowy". I think that the way those are cut, you can hem them without them looking mis-proportioned. They would be super comfy for travel.
