  1. Warning, do NOT get the Baiatric Pal version. My only, disappointment. from Bariatric Pal Store. I think I got some of the sf cheesecake from Hello at my local Krogers and they may have some in stock at Wally World. Worth a look-see.
  2. I did Lovenox shots 8am-8pm for 21 days after my RnY. Got pretty good at it, thought maybe I should rent myself out to drug houses, but around here crack,is more prevalent ( so I am told, no personal experience).
  3. I'm sure they do, they want you to have a good experience as much as you do. I'm sure they are on top of your blood profile, if you had platlet abnormalities you would have been made aware of it. Now try to be calm, it is really an easy-peasy surgery, I went in with a few bruises, even a skin tear on my forearm, they will chart those, but I didn't bruise there. Hon you will be just fine, the dreading is honestly the worst part, mine was smooth and remember I am older than dirt, I should have been the strikes would be against. Just take a deep. breath, approach with class and you'll be just fine. Prove to the Finns Americans have their act together, Draconian think of National Pride!
  4. A wonderful suggestion, let's hope it really helps Jazzy's problem.
  5. And also on the 15th Lady Sin, one of my favorite posters and Kay C. I would love to meet all my Bari'pals on here but her especially, and I think she is only one state away.
  6. And @D'Angouleme I hope things are leveling out and you're doing better now. Keep us updated, okay?
  7. I think dar64r, Brittany and shanabanana are also today and Pelara is one of the ones for tomorrow.
  8. Well today is your Big Day, either you are in surgery now or very close. Just want to wish you the best of Luck and I hope things go smoothly. for you @avm1014 and all the other January 14th people. Please update us how you are doing afterwatd!
  9. Isn't it true to more protein you get the quicker you will heal? That should make everyone want to keep the totals high.
  10. Looks pretty doggone complete to me and $25 isn't all that bad, is it?
  11. Maybe they will be restocked soon, at least one can hope so!
  12. You can lie down on the ground, allow people to walk all over you and they will still complain you're not flat enough. Do You,and do You well, you need to sit up for you!
  13. ulcerated, nothing moderate in that!
  14. Thank you James, I did download it, know you were talking to @ Ohio Sparkle but I see much there I also can use.Especially the chili, bet one could use ground turkey, chicken or even pork if one of the other meats more tolerable. This morning I am once again nauseous but we already know I am strictured and moderated. Taking things easy on my tummy, regressed temporarily to plain liquids but will try not to become fluid-poor and dehydrated on top of things. Best of the day to you and yours!
  15. I never can remember which one,is for diarrhea but I THINk Linzess is for the reverse, or have I got them backwards??
  16. Have you IBS-D girls had any luck with this, or does it only make things worse to live with?
  17. So has anything gotten better for you? Hoping things are smoothing out!
  18. I was and have been on the constipation side of things since my pre-diet , through my RnY surgery and up to now. I THINK I really would prefer loose to?lumpiness.
  19. Well Mousecat, I know I tease you sometimes about your " where do it go ?" bowels. but it's in love cause I am still fighting the wars too. Yesterday I suddenly realized nothing was happening #2wise. Felt like I had a tennis ball stuck, went and strained and strained, finally a ping pong-ball. Well Wel I I says to me, it's MoM time, uncle Miralax might have kept things soft behind but like Mick Jagger, " I can't get no satisfaction", the amount I took usually puts me into Don't Trust A Fart- hood, drank down extra liquids, NADA! There she sat, no Fleet Enema on the premises, so this morning I put my little non-latex gloves on, upplied some Vaseline and the tennis ball finally popped free and. behind it, sift and squishy once I released the plug. So you can't find yours, mine ?me So Much it doesn't want to leave. I have a surgeon appointment tomorrow, didn't want to go to Columbus with a Heavy Tushie?so let's hope I AM ALL BETTER!
  20. Yeah me( waving for attention) & I think I do have grounds to. 4 months, probably stalled because of higher calorie count of.my TPN, woke up this AM to phone alarm going off, I don't even use it, must have been one of Tomkitten's bright ideas. He's still asleep, it didn't wake HIM up. Upper right chest pain, high surface , over top of boob, now what could THAT be? Last time I drug me to the ER I was told it was atypical costochodritis but that was even left near the sternum and I got poo pooed, couldn't even have a cardiac event if I tried. Really this today feels more like a muscle pull. Not right area for my,ulcer pain, that is right subcostal classically. Well I do have an appointment with surgeon Tuesday morning, if no better suppose I could mention it to him, he'll probably say " Not My Problem" and of course it isn't, but it's more a bother than something that will kill me. But I am having a PLOM moment, stands for 0oor Little Old Me, but I'm sure once I see sunlight I'll get up and try facing this Monday Morn. The surgery did stop the perilous weight gain, I'm not gaining any more, actually at a mid point, down more 100 pounds from High Weight but 75- 80 pounds to goal, still on token liquids and TPN for nutrition and to maintain my life and let my beleagured GI system heal. But Marching forward to Good Health?, nope, Don't Think So!
  21. Well I figured with as much studying I had done, and all the time I had waited that my recovery was going to be picture- perfect, thought Nothing would go wrong.Surprise Surprise Surprise, I became a statistic to the things that could go wrong, didn't I? But even if my story is a thriller instead of a sunshine and roses romance, it still will be okay. Just will take a little longer to reach a victorious goal but I still believe I can. Nothing good comes without a little stress, you don't get flowers without a thunderstorm and sufficent ☔ rain.
  22. Keep us updated as your story unfolds, it's not all that long to Spring and your surgery time.
  23. I hope your future surgery will go well and may YOUR court case go perfectly your way.
  24. Very nice pictures Ummyasmin, you have a very nice kitchen area. I feel very blessed to know you on here,
  25. Better than one of my used-to's Strawberry ice cream, slightly softened with a ribbon of natural peanut butter stirred through. Hey it was pretty fine to me!
