  1. Congratulations on returni,g to your own Little Nest. Now cones the work of Healing, losing weight and reorganizing your life.
  2. Bariatric Pal Jazzy125 says there are vertigo exrrcises on Goggle, maybe you could try those also.
  3. mine didn't but I took my stuffed bunny Roux en Y Rabbit so I used her!
  4. And isn't it a small but wonderful thing there! The little victories really pile up, don't they??
  5. Me too RoRo Kitty, afraid I'll eventually look l7ke a fat bellied spider, thin legs , thinner arms, and a garbage gut! Do hope I prove me wrong. I would love to do a Plank but with a plate and 12 screws in right upper arm, a PICC line in my upper left arm, I don't see it happening. My beleagured upper limbs just have to be excused from that task. But there are plenty of February options I can participate in and feel proud I met them!
  6. Can't be sure I'm even losing any, I'm a natural strawberry nlonde, red-gold hair, we have the fewest hairs per square inch in the first place. I keep my hair in a pixie- modified shag, I am not a fussy-hair person, rather gently slap on some makeup and face the world bravely. I do want glam shots when I get closer to 200 but that's still over half a hundred away. So I keep on keeping on, trust in God's Love and deal with everything I'm given or granted. I am honest to the best of my abilities, Frustr8 is just what you suspect, a an still obese lady trying her best to lose her fluffy fat and so the inner me can shine out for all. I am your best friend but rile me once too many and I can make a fearsome enemy if necessary. Evil looks and a sharp tongue, I grew and deserve even one of my thin red hairs. So world, better treat me better than you have, I roll over for no one, no time, not anymore! Frustr8 Power forever or until I stop breathing!
  7. Keep the fate, mind your Ps and As between now and the surgery and I predict good results.
  8. Like my friend The Marine says, do list the reasons you are getting it, the things barred by weight you will now be able to do, and then be grateful you are getting the chance to make it better, surgeons do refuse to do some peo0ke
  9. So did the little vermin run for his life or did someone eventually get him??
  10. Oh I did have a seamless surgery, for the first 2 weeks except for having a bleed across my Fat tummy from a small skin blood vessel I was moving right along, losing back down my su4gery water weight and then more! I thought I had the bad things of Baiatrics beaten. And then suddenly I stopped and every time I attempted to eat anything expected except fluids, surgeon told me at 2 weeks I could handle stage 3 , keep moving along my diet. All the sudden I was not his " happy normal RnY camper" any more. After whining a little, okay 3 times a week, to shut my lips up they scheduled an Endoscopy, surprise surprise I was the unhappy step- mother of a stomal stricture and a bunch of ulcers in my jejunem, I knew something was WRONG, it wasn't just post-surgery swelling because that's what his Nurse Practioner kept saying. I might not have the Fancy degrees--- but Baby, I knew ME. Been living in this body a Good Many Years! And after 5 months I still haven't let go of that Tornado's Tail! But I will, maybe a couple more dialating Endoscopies, I'll be all better, the PZICC line can come out, and I will be eating like all the rest of my surgery day twins! The difference between me and them? Even when I am all better , I will not drop out, go away, because my Bari- brothers and sisters have been so supportive I will remain a Bariatric Pal person. Maybe I might not post as much, but I will still cheer on others as they did me! No regret, no sorrow, even with the Minor Bumps in My Roadway I shall be a Proud RnY, grateful for my remaking, even at 73 I am still living better, healthier than I could prior. My PCP has to now admit I saved me from Death by a few years, I was getting That Bad, of course he wants to take credit for suggesting it to ME, nope I brought up the subject in 2015, when he and I were certain I would never make it to 2020 alive, at the very least I would be in a LTF, also known as a nursing home, because my body would be so broken down. Now I am thinner, not as much as I desired, the TPN has slowed down my weight plummet to 3 pounds a month, but I now grow healthier each and every day, that may not be a spectacular NSV to everyone else, but even outsiders say "You're so looking so much better," must have been as ugly as a pile of mud before, I smile And say Thank You, only my peers on here know my stuggles to get, this far, if they ask I MIGHT tell them about the surgery, otherwise they canbthink,i came to my senses and did it all MYSELF, good for my formerly battered Ego and sense of pride. I'm doing much better as a Happier Smaller Widow than I did. a mentally abused. despondent wife, big as the side of a barn, afraid to step outside without protection, cause I thought every other person loathed looking at me. Now I am emotionally strong enough to stand up on my own, if I make mistakes they are mine to make, don't have to live in someone's shadow apologizing for even existing. Mine is somewhat a difficult story, but be True to Yourself, in the long run, that's the Only Boss you'll need, as the Late Ricky Nelson wrote " If you can't please Everyone, better please Yourself!" Frustr8 out, have yourself a dyn-o-mite day.??
  11. You're rocking the llife wonderfully. On a overcast Saturday morning you really do shine! Congratulations in order for such a change K.C.girl1061!?
  12. It's mostly because your caloric levels tanked out. Most of us Americans eat 22,25 or 3000 calories, then you cut back to 600-800 a day and your poor body says" WTF are You doing to Me?" so dizziness is its way of revenge, move slower, plan your next move, not a good time to go blithering along!.Every movement has good and bad facets for IT!!
  13. I think you are very deserving of this surgery, let us all hope the Surgeon feels the same way!??
  14. Well we know one thing good about March 4th, NYJenn, it brought us YOU!
  15. Mine would be my widows peak in my front hairline, I used have a strawberry birthmark right below that, but it has faded with time but if I geel flushed it does magically reappears some. Others would be my lips and ? smile, it usually is sincere and honest, cause I usually am a happy little camper! Incidentally one of my Aussie penpals I sent my picture to, @Ummyasmin, told me my eyes are the same shade as a Dingo Dog, should this please or offend me? Never knew which way to think!???
  16. Glad you got to go home, now the next phase of your life starts, keep us updated as you go into losing mode.
  17. mine too, I kind of expected sutures myself but I guess my guy doesn't use them. Gosh he is such a cool laid-back guy but I'm sure he is relentless on the tennis court!
  18. Pulled out a pair of sweatpants today, I thought would go with my top, they were LOOSE, had to cinch up the string in them. Okay I even have to admit IAM GETTING SMALLER! Hooray for the Home Team. I may be still the size of the tackling dummy but my inner Cheerleader may just burst forth!
  19. I'm on two doses of Miralax a day, MoM evening of the third day, haven't put myself on Colace but when I was hospitalized in late November, they were trying to give me liquid Colace until they got tired of changing my bed linens, made me puke up every time. Shoot, they knew doggone well part of my problems was a tight little stoma stricture, why give me something that wasn't trickling through? Now that I am on TPN, another nugget of FYI , I have a movement every other day of greenish- black soft squishy stool, the shade from ingestion of iron, sticks to the opening, a multiple wiper, but I still cramp afterwards like my colon isn't totally emptying out. By mouth, I take either protein shake or homemade thin soups , so one meal a day to keep my swallowing muscles,in gear(or so they say) just how d9 they think I'm getting in my forty-eleven meds they prescribed except by swallowing? So the majority of my body nutrition is from the 1400 cal TPN, on which my weight loss has slowed down to 3 pounds a month. Hey, A Loss is still a Loss! And surely I shall frolic in the Sunlight? with you all someday!
  20. And I hope you all have wonderfully smooth recoveries, yes it is a Wonderful life change for us all, but the real work lies ahead, to keep moving forward toward our weight goals.
  21. Well that is surely a nicer compliment than Late Hubby's family. Their back- handed compliment " Well at least You are Pretty in the Face!" always felt like they were saying " The rest of you is Plug Ugly!" Charming group, aren't they?
  22. Boredom, stress and thinking it was necessary to eat THAT before it spoiled and turned bad, that's My trifecta of Weight Gain. The refridgerator and cupboards stayed empty, but neither told me how much they were grateful, did they? LOL through my tears!?
  23. Your tummy is just trying to EVICT a tenant! You didn't need that meat filled burrito anyway!?
  24. 12+ years, oh my, that BABY? is old enough for puberty! But you are right, so much LATE than NEVER! Congratulations anyway for your weight loss!
  25. Happy Groundhog Day! May the shadow you see today be much smaller than yours in 2017 and 2018!?
