  1. I'm down 25 pounds since sleeve surgery. Just had to share I'm so excited.
  2. I do not work. I'm a stay at home mom. Which is hard being home all day with food and other bad habits. But I have finally got up to walking a mile on the tread mill. I was so put of shape I could only get to a 3rd of a mile when I started. Hope you are doing ok.

  7. I'm 2 weeks out and my surgeon told me to move to soft food. Cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, chili and ground meats are some of the food I can have. I have no calorie goal or carb goal. What should I be aiming for? I dont want to mess this up. Just afraid to start real food.
  8. I too am cold since surgery, its 2 weeks today. I'm sleeping with socks on and I never sleep with them ever.

  12. That's so weird, I didnt think about the coldness as being from the surgery. Figured it was just the weather. I had my surgery on the 31st of January.
  13. Which surgery are you having done?
  14. I just competed week 1 of a21 day full liquid diet. Creamy soups as In cream of tomatoe ,cream of chicken. Cream of celery , cream of potatoe. cream of mushroom etc. All made with milk and all have chunky bits. Use an emerssble blender to keep to bits gone. I can make a can last all day. Eating a quarter of it at breakfast quarter st lunch and rest in evening. My Nut said to stay away from Pudding and jello.not sure why. No protein maybe. I hope that helps a little.
  15. Are you on a full liquid diet? You can eat jello, popcicles, pudding, etc. I am even allowed to eat creamed soups on mine, which I'm on now. My Nut said any thing that c an slide through a funnel I could eat. You may want to call you Nut to get a claification.
  16. Oh yeah forgot about the water. Lol. Which is a big part of weigh loss surgery. We must not get dehydrated. Im currently in the full liquids diet for 21 days...or 17 more days.. lol
  17. Which diet are you on? I was the no carb, high protein diet. ( mostly just ate meat and cheese)
  18. Welcome to the boards. I was in your shoes last week. I was nervous scared, my anxiety was pegged at high thinking would I fail at this too. Then I had a reality check. I told meself. I want to change, I need a tool to help. I can handle this and I'm strong. I'm tired of being fat. I had my surgery on 1/31/19. The pain was not bad except when sitting and standing using your abs. I had no gas pain( thank god) and walk walk walk. It feels good to get out of bed. My surgeon was funny, he said your not a sick person, dont lay in bed and act like your dying after surgery. So I took his advice and was move active. The pain meds work well, and if you still have pain, tell your nurse, they will get ya something stronger. You got this. You will be on the losers bench soon. You will start your pre op diet soon.
  19. Not to puree yet but good question. I was wondering this too. I have been saving empty apple sauce containers. I figure that's a good starting size for puree. Thoughts??
