@dreamynow Well, I thought I was supposed to have it on 11.28.17, but the insurance said I need 180day with the RD. So my 5th RD appointment is this Wednesday 12.6.17. That means, theoretically, in February 6, I will have my last RD for 180days, then it goes to insurance. If I was a bettin' girl, I'd wager my surgery will be toward the end of Feb. But in reality, it will probably in sometime in March?

Hey everyone just wanted to post my picture.. and to tell everyone to Kelly up the good work!! 3 pictures the one in the dress was the day of surgery, second one at the bottom was last week and killing pictures was today at the gym. WE CAN DO IT!!!!

I was sleeved on the 27th I had a good day yesterday I drank one Protein and I drank almost a half a bottle of Water that was all Day meal but my biggest problem has been for me. Acid reflux. so I don't know how to handle that. I can take the pain of the stitches or the bloating of the stomach . But acid reflux makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack. Right now they have me on these meds to try it to help me. I hope to god it works

I did mine on the 17 of November. I lost 20 pounds and I gained back 6 all in 13 days. Like what the heck!? I can’t eat more than 2 ounces and I am so tired [emoji42]

So I had to restart my program with my weight loss center. I'm very upset about it but I might have to wait a year to have the surgery. I didn't pass my psychological. But I've got more fight in me than I've ever had in my life. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do it for everyone I love. But most of all I'm going to do it for myself because I don't want to die at a young age. I don't want to leave my husband all alone depressed because I died. I love my family and they're supporting me. I'm going to do this I'm a fighter and a survivor and a Victor I conquered my fears and I conquered my past I can do this thank you

Today starts my log after my surgery on Monday November 27th I'm a little bit scared and worried
because I'm having acid reflux problems really bad .this is my picture before my late weight loss and I'm going to do my darndest to change my lifestyle .I know there will be ups and downs. but, this is my first entry to the beginning my life over I am a mother of two older children I have no grandchildren my kids are out of the house .I am a single woman I'm doing this for me because I deserve to make me better and healthier. here's to the beginning of my new life

Hi everyone! I was sleeved on 10/10 and I just hit about 7 weeks out. The picture on the left was me the day before my two week pre-op diet and the right was at my 7 week mark. I feel incredible. I have more energy, my chronic pain is virtually gone and I am no longer pre-diabetic. I have no regrets about this surgery. I had a really rough time in the beginning but it got so much better after the first month. I was stuck in a two week stall but the scale is finally moving. I took measurements through the process and I strongly encourage others to, because after awhile the scale will not be your friend lol. I just wanted to post some encouragement this morning for someone maybe considering the surgery or maybe about to have it. It will be the best decision of your life!

Congratulations hope everything goes well I just had my surgery 3 days ago I feel like crap I just want to get back to normal as quick as possible that's all I'm really thinking of and yes I would love to be small enough for some man to pick me up into his arms that will make me so happy

I am the same! Never had acid reflux but now it’s an everyday occurrence. i’m about 5 weeks post op. You just have to take the acid meds apparently the reflux settles down after a while. If you’re like me and not to keen on medication try freshly squeezed lemon juice - drink like a tablespoon twice a day or when you feel it coming on. It sounds ironic but the lemon actually acts as an alkaline and balances the ph levels in your stomach. It will pass, stay strong xxx

I never had acid reflux before my life now is more painful than the stitches. I can deal with the stitches in my stomach being sore but the acid reflux feel like I'm having a heart attack in my chest will this always be this way or will it go away soon anybody has suggestions help please. Im 3 day after surgery when will i being to start feeling like normal. I'm beginning to feel like this was the wrong thing to do. Please help. Go to my Dr. On the 5th.

Just get back on that liquid diet straight away! You've come too far to stop now. The main point is to shrink your liver, and of course you must not eat 12 hours or so prior to surgery. I would confess to your surgeon... but if you've lost weight since you started the liquid diet, you will most likely be fine.
