  1.    50+ssallday reacted to a post in a topic: I never had acid reflux before my life
  2. Is anyone else a vegetarian going through this experience? I was sleeved about 5 weeks ago. I’m so nauseous and light headed all the time. I’m finding it impossible to reach 60 grams of protein a day. It’s like a choice between being dehydrated and eating or being hydrated and not eating.. I tried eating meat and it just disgusted me and made me feel worse. I just can’t go there, so I settled with some canned tuna and even that i found really difficult as i don’t like eating animal flesh whether they be land or sea. I’ve been doing 2 scoops of protein powder a day and recently stopped that as per docs instructions to try and get solids in. Anyone else in the same boat and/or managing to get their protein in?
  3. I am the same! Never had acid reflux but now it’s an everyday occurrence. i’m about 5 weeks post op. You just have to take the acid meds apparently the reflux settles down after a while. If you’re like me and not to keen on medication try freshly squeezed lemon juice - drink like a tablespoon twice a day or when you feel it coming on. It sounds ironic but the lemon actually acts as an alkaline and balances the ph levels in your stomach. It will pass, stay strong xxx
