  1. I had to do them once a day for 2 weeks!!! Hated it!! But it was so worth it!!
  2. So, those who follow my posts, know that I am OBSESSIVE about weighing myself daily.. well, I'm at my sister's house in Mississippi and wouldn't you know it.. she doesn't have a scale.. I asked her if she wanted me to buy her one (I just wanted to use it...), but she rolled her eyes and didn't answer!!! LOL... I've been eating okay.. I had a kid's soft serve cone from my childhood ice cream joint.... I promised my accountability partner that I wouldn't count, track or weigh will vacaying.. .l'm still counting in my head.... OH my goodness.. it's SOOOOO hard not to get on a scale...!!! I have one more day before I can get home and see what the damage is!! LOL..... When did I go crazy!!??!!!
  3. Awesome job!!!!! Keep up the good work!!! I'm losing more inches than pounds!! UGH!! I want to see both disappear!!!!
  4. @Kareforme... I am dying here at my sister's house.. she doesn't have a scale!!! UGH!! I'm so afraid that I've gained weight.. I don't see how.. LOL...I've been told that I shouldn't stress about the calories either.. At my support group, the vets are like... workout at your own pace, get your fluids in and make sure you eat.. the weight will come off!! I should believe them.. they've lost literally hundreds of pounds!!! I'm a very positive person.. it seems lately though, I've been struggling w/ believing that Sleevina is doing her job.. I know she is.. it's just crazy.. This journey is something!!!
  5. Babygirlcherry, It's a real trip for me because I've never been "normal" weight in my life!!.. I was born 2 months premature and weighed in at a whooping 1 lb 6 oz... I wasn't expected to live, but thank God I did... I was on a constant regimen of steroids and other meds for pneumonia, resp infections and stuff.. Had a seizure at 3 and was given meds and started blowing up!!! I've been overweight as long as I can remember. I get a little freaked out about being "normal" weight.. since I've never experienced it.. and I have no point of reference.. I'm blessed to have a family and friends who constantly affirmed me and it helped that I was smart, an artist and quite charming!! LOL... Never had a confidence issue as an adult (as a teenager definitely)... well, until my ex 2 years ago.. I'm glad I'm almost back to my old self, only smaller and more positive!! You are doing great and I look forward to hearing more about your journey!!
  6. Hey!!! I'm 3 months and 2 weeks... I feel great.. but I'm dealing w/ feeling okay about eating!!! I obsess over the number of calories I'm consuming... and I went through a sweets phase last month while I was celebrating my birthday.. Back on track now, exercising and severely limiting my sugar intake.. As far as hunger, I only experience it when I'm not drinking enough Water.. when my fluids are on track, I have to schedule my meals.. No water means I'm eating ALL day!!!
  7. Awesome!!! This is so great and a true testament to all of your hard work!!!! Congratulations!!!

  14. Thanks.. I'll add this to my collection.. Have you tried adding argan oil?? It's a little expensive, but great for the skin!!

  18. Hey Phillip, Welcome to VST!!! This board has a wealth of information and many people have chronicled their journey as well.. Check out the different forums..especially the post-op forum for info on what life is like post-op.. I pray that all turns out great w/ you... I'm only 3 months out.. but I can tell you, this was one of the best decisions I could have ever made!!! I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

  23. I feel you Sis!!!!... I've started taking biotin and conditioning really well.. My next purchase is going to be a Biotin/Silica shampoo.. As far as the acne, I had to see a dermatologist... My face was terrible!! I got a perscription for these cleansing wipes and cream... Hope you find something that helps.. In the mean time... I have natural hair, so I'm rocking my afro or a puff (pulled back w/ a band)... stepped up my earring game and making sure my makeup is tight!! LOL...
