  1. hehehe See I motivate people to get up and do things. I should join the circuit with Tony Robbins. LOL Thanks for the info. I would imagine they want him up and moving on his own before doing the surgery, just so that he doesn't form circulation problems.
  2. well good for him. i find it a little amusing that he has some of the finest surgeons in the world doing the surgery in his own backyard, but he wanted some surgeons from europe to do the surgery, and they decided not to do it cause he is too big. can he stand now that he has lost the 200? or is he still immobile?
  3. I have a question. It is a silly one, but I really want to know. Did they put massagers on your legs after your surgery? I am really curious. Cause i love the idea of getting massaged after surgery. LOL I know I might need them because of my history with blood clots, but I love how they feel. I was actually thinking of buying my own. But if he uses them anyway I won't shell out the cash. Thanks!!! My surgery is on the 10th of July. Its getting close and I am so excited!!!
  4. WELCOME SUNNY DEE AND ANDY LIZ!!! We are so glad to have you in the group!!! You will love it! Ok guys...we are nearing the finish line!! Are your cards up to date? Are your totals worked out? Can you do any extra water drinking and workouts over today and tomorrow to get that last few pounds off before weigh in? Lets make this month close out with a bang!!! Make it happen!! Be like Telly and Tricia with the workouts!! Be like me with the water!! Drink it down!! Chug chug chug!! Be like Pnut with the bread and sugars!! Try for a gallon a day!! You can do it! Yay GFG club!!
  5. My date is the 10th. We will all have to decide which thread to party in. I am going to check out and see which one is longer, then post in that one. HA!
  6. Now its your birthday girly girl. how are you feeling!! Hope the surgery went really well! Happy birthday!!!!
  7. I have heard that both cases occur. Pnut's man, Dawg, on the other hand is not a passive loser. *gigglesnorts* He is an aggresive loser. He has been working really hard on it. I think the most AMAZING thing about their weight loss was that for the first 60 pounds I think they were losing the same amount, pound for pound, every week. It was truly amazing. They ate the same, cut out the same stuff, didn't workout but they lost an amazing amount of weight together and lost it at exactly the same rate. Dawg I think has slowed down now that he is approaching his goal, and pnut has continued on her weight loss tear.
  8. Oh screw the bathing suit! I want to go to a nude beach!! LOL
  9. You say you had the golfball feeling. What have you been eating before this happened? I am so sorry that you are having so many problems!! I hope you get better soon. I saw your other post and it seems that you are in a great deal of pain.
  10. oh bunny we are doing the same thing. in a real wedding dress, just our kids and immediate family. And of course...ed. our best man and godfather to our kids. we go nowhere without him. he has been part of our family since college. Diane...you are too freakin funny!!! If I am correct that is a hotel in fiji right?
  11. I know I have under 20 pounds to go till I cross the border. Do I need to do a currency exchange? I am fast approaching, and hopefully the liquid diet and the surgery will help kick my butt over the line. It will be so exciting to be in the 200's again. I have a friend who used to talk about how fat she was. Made me insane, cause she was in the low 200's. Maybe someday I too can piss off a 300 pound person by talking about how fat I feel in the 200's. LOL joking of course.
  12. i like em all really there were no bad ones. but i love apple so the apple one is prolly my fave.
  13. I LOVE Isopure. It is 40g of protein and NO CARBS!!! and it tastes like jello. Its FAB! I know you can buy it online if you can't find a good place to get it near you.
  14. I like #2 and #3. You look young and super hot! LOL #4 would probably be good because of the game. I hope you win!! and no, you aren't too old to be doing this. Maybe you should do with some cleavage. That always gets gamer boys HAHAHAA
  15. Ok, so Rett...any news? I have been checking back on this because i have a history of blood clots and wanted to make sure you were alright. Any news or anything on it? Did you go to your doc's office and have it looked at? what did they say?
  16. Harley Tampa rocks!! Not so many tourists unless you are on the beach, great downtown, lots of nightlife, and less crime than orlando  Plus the beaches are FANTASTIC!! I love the idea of a Florida Bash. We could rent out a hotel conference center for a party, people could get hotel rooms, and the hotel could cater. That part wouldn't cost much lol
  17. have you tried any liquid protein? I agree that you might be too tight.
  18. I have setup a jar in the kitchen. I pay myself a dollar for every day i workout, and a dollar i eat right. and i am going to pay myself 5 dollars for every pound lost. that way at the end of it all i will have lots of money saved up for something special, like a whole new wardrobe, or a trip to carribean
  19. I am not banded yet, but have been reading this site for a year and a half and have heard similar stories the whole time. I hope that it helps you and the lump feels like it is going away.
  20. You might be swollen and sensitive after your PB. I have read some people go on a liquid diet after a pb to let things calm down. Do hot liquids seem to help it? Have you tried slowly drinking a few hot cups of tea?
  21. Those who had a last supper, can you share what you ate? Just in case it was gassy foods that you ate...that might contribute too. Like I really really want refried beans right now? LOL That might cause a bit of gas.
  22. I think they mean a real bike. one that actually moves. maybe. lol i saw this stationary bike at sports authority that had a seat that was as big as my butt! I was impressed. we might buy it.
  23. Yeah I guess I am meaning stomach pain and plain old farting. Burping would be easy for me to handle. I am the type that needs to spend the evening in the bathroom if i have gas, cause I am too ladylike to even do that aorunf my husband. when our kids were born and i was still in bed i would make him leave the room when i felt gas coming on. lol
  24. Do a 6 month supervised diet with your doctor, and while you are doing that appeal appeal appeal. Have your doctor send in a letter to them stating that it is medically necessary. If you don't have any comorbidities, list the ones you are border line on. If you do have them, state them very clearly and show that it means the band is medically necessary. Just keep plugging away at it. Unless there is an exclusion barring you from getting it covered, you can continue to appeal till they approve.
  25. I hate moving. I can never get everything done that I need to. And I find myself sitting around wondering why we own so much trash and junk.
