Awww ty! Can I keep you? I think it's my magic black turtleneck that I scored on Old Navy! It's a fitted medium almost too small in the shoulders! But I kept it cuz my scrawny turkey neck is still too small in it. Can you say Bobblehead? Course you can! But I also got a pair of the ON Super Skinny black jeggings in size 8 and guess what? I gotta return 'em cuz I think they are too big. Woot!!! So maybe I am still re-apportioning? I weigh 131.6lbs this morning. I think it's probably just optical delusion!

I channeled you yesterday! Did you feel it? The "boys" are in their chair and starting to get very excited about Christmas. Sorry I cut them out of the photo bomb opp!

Update and question...oh the pain
My defense on no mineral oil would be that she's newly post surgical and barely able to get liquids down. So if it upset her stomach (especially being RNY = low oil) and she got into an emergency situation with vomiting or it backing up in her esophagus, it could be disasterous. Also what @MsBrown76 said...it's super hard to get down and keep down. I still remember the castor oil/grape juice debacle as a 5 year old. To this day I can not drink grape juice. I'd be more tempted to do glycerine suppositories mixed with MOM unflavored. But you also have to have a LOT of fluid to make the MOM work. So it's tricky and worse...what if she does have a complete impaction, perferation, or twist? Then what? You've just delivered serious osmolytics with no way to move down and out. That would result in a bowel burst. So it's not so simple and lay person solvable. This is a doctor situation for sure. I can just tell you, it's going to be Rosemary's Baby Terrible, the longer the constipation continues.

Jaseeeeee! I love the last outfit. You look adorable in it. It's totally you!!! So much dang cute personality and beauty/glam! I can't believe your transformation!!!! You must FEEL so much healthier, right? You were beautiful and put together then and looked like a ball of fire (so much fun), but I know how I felt at my heaviest and how I feel now. It's night and day. WTG lady! Such an inspiration!!

Daily Menus for Maintenance
Oh wow! So who doesn't like a VERY thorough poop! So I'd vote it a win-win all around. You got to eat 16 baby cookies, poop like a champ, and were only mildly disturbed by it. Unlike writhing and sweating. And the other news is we know you will take the fluid right back off and be back to having to work hard to keep from losing!! Go girl!!

Update and question...oh the pain
You have poo and water and gas mixed up in there cuz of a partial "asleep" part in your colon that acts as a partial obstruction. The question is why some of your bowel is decompressed. And what's the most gentle way to try to get things moving. And you have fluid around your lung. So make sure you are deep breathing and moving!!! And doing your spirometer. Dunno. But some one with medical training will hopefully be in to help you make sense of that. ((hugs)) And bless your heart. I know it's uncomfy / painful as hell!!

Wooohoooo! 100lbs down! That's fantastic! Congrats to you!!! You look amazing!!!- Update and question...oh the pain
Yes. I had a partial ileus. I still have some small issues. I just make sure to keep things moving in there. And if I know they aren't then I go to pure liquids until they are. I can tell from the gurgling when I'm having "issues." So so so painful! Sorry you are dealing with this. For some of us, it takes a while for our intestines to re-awaken after surgery. Sorry for the bladder spasms. Are you allowed to take pyridium? Can't think of the OTC one. It makes your pee orange. If you can't keep stuff down or pain worsens, go back to ER. Keep doing it til you get action and are sure you don't have a full blockage!- Daily Menus for Maintenance
I adore that you faithfully log every honest bite and sip! I love that you know if you hadn't been accountable you would have eaten even more. Holy hell, how sick were you? Lay on the floor sweating and wanting to die sick? Yeah, the whole sleep thing is cray the older I get! I always was a nightowl too. But now, crap! I'm lucky to make it to 4:30 or 5am! Then I'm like, "OK, time to go to work!"- POLL! Let's Play: Would You Join A Private Accountability Club With Online Support Meetings?

Ok, so today I'm back down to pre-Fatsgiving weight of 132.2lbs. Am trying still to break the mythical envelope (130lbs). But clearly not trying TOO hard. However, 3 days of pretty good eating got me back in the saddle and weight came off. It's always scary to imagine the day when that happens, but the weight doesn't magically fall off any longer. I quake to consider that!
