  1. ER or doc call. Make it snappy girl! ((hugs))
  2. Yes. Absolutely! I've lost the last 30-40lbs with IF + surgery + tight diet control.
  3. That's when I started! To bust a stall, refocus, gain new direction, play a new game with myself cuz I was bored with the old one, and I wanted to cut my hunger. The more you IF, the less hunger you experience. At least for me. Welcome!
  4. So what you are saying is that at 5 years, you've maintained your 110lb loss, but are presently a BMI50? And you just had you GB out. And you have not been taking vitamins until just this year. Right? First off, congrats on losing 110lbs! Second, call your surgeon's office and schedule an appointment to evaluate you. You need a full work-up for vitamin/mineral deficiencies. And he/she needs to evaluate what happened to keep you from fully losing to a healthy BMI level (BMI 50 as you know in your heart isn't very healthy and still conveys a lot of health and mortality risk hon.) Do you have Fatty Liver, or NASH? Do you still have restriction? Do you eat around your tool? If it was me, I'd want to get a counselor to start doing the head work, want to get an RD to plan a route of attack that I could live with, and want to pursue the subject of a second surgery to a DS from the VSG (it is the malabsorptive side of a VSG surgery). Also, I have a thread in the main lobby called Doing the Headwork. Why not go check it out?!! Hugs and hope that helps!
  5. Thank you for your inspiration, your journey, your GORGEOUS meal ideas and your inspiration. I'm inspired by all of you, new and vet! I wish I could like THIS a meeelion times! I feel exactly as you do! For reals. When I was in WLM, I was laser focused. So I didn't get tricky with food. Cuz I've done the scenic tour and this time just wanted to get to goal as quickly as I could. So very little shenanigans and lean dense protein + 1-2oz al dente steamed or roasted veg + tiny bit of fat at meals was it... Now that I'm at maintenance I feel good about interacting with re-writing old recipes to fit my new Bari Healthy Life! And through it all--I never felt like I was deprived. I just felt so blessed and such relief to have this chance to lose like a normal person! Last night we went out to our neighborhood Italian place. Coulda had anything: bread, pizza, gooey pasta. What did I have from choice, not penury...I had 1 Caprese Stack + 1/2 side salad with WF Italian Dressing + grilled shrimpies + broccoli toasted with garlic. And a Cappaccino with real steamed cream for dessert. Gosh I did not feel any deprivation, just had an awesome night with Mr. F. and friends! And here's Tuesday Tacos made with my LoLo Psylli Wrap nuked into a crispy shell! Now where do you get an lc gluten free paleo crispy taco shell for about 18 or so calories that gives you some fiber? Yeah...so. much. deprivation.
  6. Me2! And so weird but can't get the Chipotle Mayo here in the store, but I get the Chipotle Ranch Dressing which I swear is almost the same thing and I mix it with my tuna salads and other mayo-type stuff. Beautiful!!! Love the OOTD for salad!
  7. Perfect!!! I did that same exact thing!! I had a Goal 1 then a Goal 2 then a Goal 3!! So I kinda backed into it cuz I didn't believe I would do it! Good for you for coming back to center girlie!! I did have a stall at 6 months. I think it lasted a good while. LOL. I had to get back refocused and quit cheatin on myself. The fewer times you go off the wagon during WLM the better, quite honestly. It's harder and harder the more you reinforce that behavior.
  8. You are 5ft? May I ask why you are stopping at 150lbs? I know that's pretty ballsy of me to ask that. Cuz who am I to figure a goal weight for anyone but me?! And if you follow the plan and are still eating weight loss cals, you will lose hon. It will break. The 6th month stall SUCKED big green ones!
  9. Ha, did they all tell a story to you?
  10. TY! Can't wait to make this! I have a chuck arm in DS9 right now. I think it will be Sunday dinner!! It looks amazeballs. And will definitely do roasted smashed cauli with as another meal! I will toast and grind my cumin as well! We did the maiden voyage of the IP this week. I just made one of my staples: French Chicken that I used to make in either LeCreuset in the oven or in the slow cooker. You can omit the tarragon in the recipe and it forms a base you can spice however you want. Am using some with enchilada sauce tonight for Tuesday Tacos with the Fluffys. LOL. (The recipe will be up soon...still building the website.)
  11. Yeah I was totally replacing mine with caulirice...lol. You know me so well! Ok, so did you cube your meat or leave it potroast style. Did it go in frozen or thawed. How many minutes? Quick release or slow depressure? TIA!
  12. Was this souvide or IP? Inquiring minds and all...gosh it looks warm and comforty!!!
  13. Well, I did. I choose who I want to know my journey. But I think you have to follow what feels right to you. You know?
  14. Ok, so the beauty of WF products are that they "extend" real stuff for zero calories...except I love their Italian Vinaigrette, Asian, and Sesame Ginger on their own. But I mix that in with Ken's Steakhouse Lite Blue Cheese for a super ultra light version. Try it. I triple dog dare you!!! Add a little garlic and a splash of ACV also.
  15. Yes. We have one. imbacnow.fanpage Hi!
  16. I love doing the cinnamon in my coffee at night without the sweetener cuz the cinnamon cuts my appetite with the bitter coffee. And also, it lowers insulin. Score!
  17. You can do sea salt, Asian (yum) and so much more. Savory/salty and sweet versions. But it can be addictive. But it's a great source of fat and fiber and cals that won't cause dumping!! Sounds like exactly what you need, especially if you make a trail mix with it and nut combos and maybe even Lily's Extra Dark SF Choco Chips! And you could also make homemade dehydrated apple slices (thin) and pear slices (thin). Also, you can order dehydrated fruit and veggie chips that are fat free and are pretty low carb/no sugar added and crunchy. So those would be good to combine with it too.
  18. Bless you heart hon! Sounds like you have a game plan though!!!! Congrats and keep us updated!!
  19. Holy smokes, Disappearing Batman! You look FABULOUS!!! And such results in so little time. Way to laser focus dude!!! Congrats!
  20. RH is considered Late Dumping Syndrome. It's not super common as in a big majority have no issues with LDS or RH. When most people talk about dumping, they mostly think of the Early Dumping Syndrome. Two different things really...One is very sudden and acute. The other happens anywhere from maybe 1-2-3 hours out and can sneak up on you and it's a pretty critical situation if you don't catch it before your bg falls too low. Mine has been as low as 36 and I was in panic almost incoherent from it.
  21. I think dried fruit has tons of sugar in it. It would keep my sweet toothe alive and kickin. But everyone is so very different. If it works for you, you're losing, you're satisfied, and it doesn't make you dump? Go for it!
  22. Get the raw flakes. Pimp em out. Then toast em. You have your own unique flavor!!
  23. Well, with spaghetti, you likely would not have dumping issues as much as it would sit very heavy and cause pain. It could cause some people to have RH, but I consider that to be different than dumping.
  24. Wow. The experience is very similar. I waited until I was in MM to test the waters with pasta. And because I've worked to develop new food choices, I actually prefer my zoodles and Zeroodles to eating real pasta. No carb hangover. No heaviness or nausea. I don't eat Chinese take out cuz of too much hidden sugar and RH. I make it at home and eat it at least 2x a week usually. I don't eat rice any more, but I've had a bite of Mexican rice with charro beans without issues.
