  1. Dinner out and I choose a salad so I could have cheesecake too ? (both from the skinny/low carb menu. The salad is 210 and the cheesecake is 590 cals but I didn’t finish either
  2. Black-bean quesadilla made with low carb tortilla (before and after)
  3. if you read enough posts it seems that the rate of loss is a little slower after revision I’m currently 2 yrs post revision from VSG to RNY (for GERD not regain) and for me I have been able to maintain the same weight I was with VSG but I’m now GERD free. Initially I lost a little but since I was already at goal my surgeon wanted me to maintain not lose so I ate whatever I wanted for a short period of time. Then went back to normal (post bari lifestyle of moderation and overall food changes/substitution) Knowing what I now know, I think revisioners should consider asking their surgeons: 1. No GERD but substantial regain- Should I consider VSG to DS/SIPS for greater weightloss? 2. GERD and substantial regain- Should I convert from VSG to RNY with a longer bypass? 3. GERD but no regain- Should I convert from VSG to RNY with a slightly shorter bypass to prevent excess loss? Good Luck ❤️

    Fabulous! I ❤️ that belt
  6. Hi new friend ✋? I can’t remember making smoked chicken but there was dry rubbed and bbq in a post or two. I barely ever cook chicken because I hate the cleanup (sanitize everything ?) but when I did it was oven baked (drumsticks) or pan fried (breast/boneless thighs) But now thanks to Airfryers I just season and let the machine do the work, flipping it half way through the cycle. Same for the tofu - I season and cook and about 75% of the way through I add the sauce/drizzle. Airfryers really are handy. I hope that helps ❤️
  7. Please do continue to post! Your posts could inspire many people. Rest assured I don’t cook “beautifully” for myself most of the time. I plate my family’s food extremely different from what I toss in my bowl. Also It’s summer so I’m not cooking anything that takes longer that 10 minutes ?
  8. Congratulations!!! So exciting! I’m also late to the party
  9. Having several consultations is always better It’s pricey (especially that area of Mexico) but I’ve read in various online groups that it’s because they cater specifically to American patients. Also if doing a face lift perhaps go with a surgeon that does only face work so you can see a lot of anticipated outcomes Good luck!
  10. The person in the video may have really good genetics or only had their skin stretched for a short period of time (like pregnancy) Dermarolling is supposed to force collagen production through micro injuries but it’s not for every skin type. If you are prone to bad scarring it is definitely not recommended. Some slight improvements are possible with radio frequency skin tightening because it’s suppose to prompt collagen production also (nothing even close to this) but the very best results are with removing the excess skin completely.
  11. Cottage cheese w/peaches and blueberries
  12. Sounds like you have recurring strictures. What did your Bariatric surgeon suggest?
  13. I started out with MyFitnessPal but over the last 2 yrs I switched to Baritastic because it’s easier (I prefer the scan feature)
  14. Wow what a long road! You look positively radiant, congratulations in advance ❤️
  15. Looks good! Any specific brand?
  16. Before surgery : 1. Get organized - Remove everything you don’t want around especially tempting foods and drinks. 2. Get a tape measure- This can supplement weighing and track your physical changes which can be huge even if not reflected on the scale 3. Photos - Taking pictures to compare your progress can be very helpful for motivation and celebrating. 4. Ask questions - Ask your team questions on everything you are uncertain about. After Surgery: 1. Continue to take photos and measurements weekly/monthly to have a visual way to track your progress. 2. Donate/sell clothes you cannot fit. 3. Continue to ask questions until you are comfortable with the details of your new lifestyle. Good Luck ❤️
  17. Congratulations in advance!!!
