I would cry if someone did this to me.

Food Before and After Photos
Oh no! I only have eyeball recipes. I knew this would come back to bite me. My daughter asked for a measuring cup to make rice yesterday and I explained I don’t measure then taught her how to estimate. My Lazy A$$ Masoor Dal Triple wash the red split lentils. Add water. I think the lentil to water ratio is roughly 1:2. Add any South/East Asian spices you like (garam masala, cumin, tumeric, bay leaf, ginger, kasuri methi… or if lazy like me just a good premade curry blend and basic aromatics) Add in carrots, potatoes or whatever root vegetables you want. High heat until boiling then reduce to a simmer. Cook root vegetables are until tender and lentils are dissolved adding more water or spices as necessary. For thicker stew use less water but cook slower and lower. I hope that works, if not I have to book a flight and prove myself.

I’m pretty sure a this cost around $3 and 20 mins to make a quart of this. I almost exclusively use Masoor Dal because it’s a quicker cook.

I think a lot of us (me) are doing the same which is why you only see my “good” stuff in this thread. No one wants to see my meal of kettlechips, cheez it’s and mini ice cream cones. How many more no cook meals can I show before people realize I really don’t cook anymore?? ?

I just googled Quarkbällchen and these did have an “added yogurt” texture to them.

But seriously … brunch with my BF Market veggie sandwich with chicken white bean soup and two of these gingerbread donuts. If I had to guess cals I would overestimate at 1000 cals

Sleeve to DS
If you have any indications of GERD a surgery will likely not suggest DS but RNY. Before you go that route, have you asked your team what else can be done? Ask about other (nutritionist, pharmacological) options.

Possible TT
I agree with @sillykitty. I’ve personally seen his liposuction and BBL work but I haven’t (personally) seen anyone with TT from him. Also he’ll reject patients he does not find ideal with very little notice. So unless you have a prior consultation with him (not a coordinator) it’s a gamble.

It was good but no one wanted these leftovers. Also I have to confess, I will take leftovers but rarely will I eat them. Where is my support group?

Thai sweet and sour crispy chicken Ok I know I’m not going crazy. This is not a normal portion size. This is not including the 1.5 cups of rice that came with it (no thanks)

5 years post op
I have! I went through a phase with these (maybe a year ago ?) then I had a hard time finding them so I started making my own (quickly grew tired of doing that) I might do it again next year.

Thanks! I do eat a range of things but honestly I make a lot of substitutions when possible like: regular bread when eating out but always keto bread at home (never was going to give bread up), regular fries when out vs airfryer fries at home, and yesterday I ate grilled chicken tenders vs fried tenders because the calories made more sense (even though I wanted the fried ones). Oh and I am dead serious about picking desserts over salads when the calories are on par ? so I do watch calories (and sugar) more than what appears to be the “healthier” choice.

Thank you! I get why people leave. After a while there’s not much more to say (unless you have a complication) but I stick around to keep myself honest. I update my weight every single time it fluctuates.
