  1. hi had to do six months dietian classes, sept 3rd was the last class,lost 27lbs, now its nov, i lost more weight trying not to gain, started at 324. so i exercise on my stationary bike twice a day, watching what i eat it,s hard i,m trying to hold on.

  3. don,t wanna brag but told you it will happen for you. next monday is your brand new beginning.quick question did dr.bell require a pre-op diet.since april i have lost 27lbs. trying to maintain now i think i,ve lost more the scale says around 285.maybe it,s my eyes.but never in a million years did i think i could do this i guest knowing i am getting the band makes me more determine.have a great weekend. because monday is your day. keep us posted.sil
  4. nov 6 she said my case was going in for review, so i have to wait maybe a week or two. does that means she submitted it to insurance of that the doctors office will review it, i started the process in april, now it,s nov,ok i will be patient. the waiting is something else. good luck everyone.
  5. hello just to drop a line to say you can find it on any section of your local supermarket aisle, such as shoprite, stop&shop, walgreen, riteade, down in the pharmacy aisle.i buy the eas protien drinks myself. good luck on your journey.

  10. hello i had to do the six months dietian classes, started the process in april. still not banded yet, call your insurance company an see what the requirements are .anyway my pre-op testing. ekg stress test part one&two chest xray pulmonary test cardio thats part of stress test where they take pictures of your heart, to see is their any blockage. blood test. good luck on your journey. an call the doctor office an see what tests they require also.
  11. on oct,15 i did my pulmonary test, it took a week for the results to come back so i bugg the office they didn,t know anything so i decided to call the pulmonary office to tell them where to fax my results, they did, an i call my surgeon office yesterday an ask for a date,she ask me have i seen the doctor yet i say no, so she,s going to send my case into review the same day. so i hope i will get a surgery date i have started the process on april now it,s nov. so hopefully they will call soon.:smile:i have been on this board since march/08 an have read positive things but the waiting is something else.wishing everyone luck on your new journey in life sil:thumbs_up::mad2:

  13. hi ebonyrose i am still waiting on my date. just call the doctors office yesterday to ask about my pulmonary clearance she said did i do it. i took the yest on oct,. the lady said it takes a week for the results, so last friday i decide to call pulmonary an told them where to fax it.so yesterday she said it will go into review, i started the process in april,hopefully i will get a date soon.my surgery will be done at yale newhaven by dr bell also. good luck on your new life journey,sil

  16. hi i had to do a 6 months supervised dietian classes with a nutritionist,of your dr, had to go every month for six months, then you have to do pre-op testing, talk to your doctor or surgeon, to see what they require i had to do, chest xray ekg stress testpart 1,2. pulmonary test pscyh evaluation. call your insurance to see what they require for lapband, surgery. hope this help. good luck

  18. hang in their you can do it,i still have no date yet, just waiting. my daughter went trickortreating last night she came back with lots of candy so i had 3 minatures muskerteers, 1 nestle crunch, small bag of pretzels i couldn,t resist, but i got on my exercise bike the next day hope it didn,t hurt anything. i,ll be rooting for you good luck on your journey.

  20. hello love the lori logo did you design it your self. soft foods phase two, thinly cooked cereals made with skim milk (grits, farina, cream of wheat) low fat or fat free cottage cheese without fruit added lowfat or fat free cheese eggsor egg subsitutes(boiled or cooked in PAMor cooking spray) light yogurt, sweetened with a non-nutritive sweetner canned fruit or vegetables(injuice or water not syrup, drained) lowfat cream soups(strained) baked or mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, or yams (cooked until soft and do not eat the skin. use only use water, skim milk, or chicken broth to moisten.) skinless chicken(baked, boiled, or grilled- not fried) hope this helps got it from my nutrionist. sil

  23. they better not mind you bring those beautiful twins, when i went to my classes, i caught the bus it is a hour drive all the wat to yale newhaven only to spend 10-15 minutes with the dietian go figure, the first time i went i took maybe 30 minutes to an hour. from then on maybe 10 minutes each session as long as i didn,t miss a class i had to go once a month for 6 months. anyway welcome aboard. good luck on your new journey in life.
  24. i took that test the first of the year, when i went to the doctor i piss a whole lot especially at night, i get up around 2:30 everynight, but my test came back ok. wish you luck pissing{smile}.
  25. no it,s not just you it started this morning, when you want to reply,it don,t go so i have seen multiple replys,on a page when someone answer a question.
