hi i had to do a 6 months supervised dietian classes with a nutritionist,of your dr, had to go every month for six months, then you have to do pre-op testing, talk to your doctor or surgeon, to see what they require i had to do,

chest xray

ekg

stress testpart 1,2.

pulmonary test

pscyh evaluation.

call your insurance to see what they require for lapband, surgery. hope this help. good luck

I had done the 20/20 program at the Pro Club about 2 years ago, so that counted as my previous supervised weight loss attempt. Once I met with the surgeon and got that process started, I had to meet with a nutritionist and psychologist, then submit everything to Premera. Took Premera about 2-3 weeks to approve everything, with some pestering by me. Everyone is different, but this should help as a ballpark.
