  1. It's been fun doing this and it's paying off so far
  2. I went into surgery a big coffee drinker and I was told I can have a 16oz per day but I'm just taking my time.... basically there are things they don't take away if you're up front
  3. Thanks alot I'm just tweaking certain things that benefit my body a lil more
  4. Yes you're right the NUT mean well but everyone body not the same and losing the weight I have shows me that I'm doing something right
  5. Thanks my NUT was telling me things today I didn't really like and I told them I'm doing it my way and it's working and if I do it y'all way I may stall
  6. Just had my second weigh-in since surgery on 4/12/17 and I'm at 304 and I was 369 on day of surgery! It's been a journey but I'm looking forward to being under 300 pounds again
  7. Going great just about to do my updated weight because just left doctor and I'm down 65 pounds since surgery
  8. It's all good I've been to a few restaurants in the last few days...Took my mom to red lobster and all I had was a strawberry lemonade and 3 shrimp pot stickers (only ate a half of one) but getting out and having willpower makes me stronger and I'll order something small just to give it away because I'm enjoying being somewhere that I used to go and smash a big meal LOL
  9. I kinda cheated because I got approved so fast that I didn't have a two week pre-op diet so I made sure I had my last meal because I put myself in a position where I would be ok...and I don't regret it and don't care if someone says different because everyone body is different.
  10. We all make mistakes but I think you learned from it. Having little ones is how I started gaining weight because I made yummy things for the tummy and I never corrected my eating habits so now it's about willpower and asking for advice from support groups like this because we all don't have people that surround us that are supportive
  11. You'll get it right!!! I have faith in everyone that decided to take the journey
  12. Yeah I'm single and I'm going to try dating because I feel like meeting people is better then jumping back in a relationship especially when going through this new transition
  13. I was good first 10 days... I drove 470 miles and back after first three days and took up walking to ease any tension in my body
  14. Yes I'm post-op 4/12/17 and I've become addicted to walking but today I actually did a leg day at gym besides my 5 miles
  15. I'm hear to tell people that are worried about exercise to just walk if anything because I've been walking and it's been paying off
  16. It was 30's for me went almost 190 pounds up in 8 years and wish I could've done this before it got bad
  17. Thanks it's been good so far and I'm just thankful I didn't go into a bad spell where I didn't want to do anything cause I know there's some that lose focus
  18. I was doing take out, frozen pizza, tv dinners etc. And I knew I had to make changes ASAP and the slow cooker meals are awesome
  19. Just got a bottle of 60 for 6 bucks and yes I'm sticking with these.....thanks a mil
  20. Thanks it's basically because I walk on a path daily.... couldn't go to my gym and walk in one place like this
  21. Thanks love and my last weigh in on 5/4 I was 41 pounds down and I'm checking weight again on 6/5. I only had a problem sleeping on my side but I'm feeling great and I can't stop walking! I know I need to do other exercises but I love getting up early and walking daily
  22. I had gastric sleeve surgery 4/12 and left next day. I started walking a few hours after recovery while in hospital and haven't stopped since. I walk about 4 to 5 miles daily and bought a Fitbit 2 so I make sure I'm over 10000 steps daily. I didn't have any side effects but I still can't really hold food in me even if it's soft etc. And it took me 3 days to poop and I have to take stool softener to help me get going
  23. I'm getting weighed again on 6/5 and I'm nervous because last time I checked my weight was 5/4 at first post-op visit and I had already lost 41 pounds. It's one of those things we all go through and I know you'll be fine
