  1. I see your point but I would hardly refer to that as calling names. It was merely bringing an issue to someone’s attention before it escalated any further. A few persons were obviously unhappy with said responses. Let’s all be friends.
  2. Lots of BAKED BEANS! lol Actually just walk walk walk.
  3. I did a bunch of Campbell’s chunky soup’s. Delicious!
  4. Wow! I’ve wanted a cup of coffe for 5 weeks now.
  5. Don’t do any caffeine even decaf for at least 30 days after surgery. It’s very acidic and hard on the stomach.
  6. Be careful! You don’t want a leak or something caught in your staple line. If you have anything make sure there’s no chunks in it. Smooth & liquefied!
  7. As for the advice you asked for I have questions. Are you eating half a cup of healthy food every three hours? Are you not drinking water 15 minutes before your meals to 30 minutes after your meals? Are you getting the required amount of protein? Are you drinking liquid calories? Those are just the refreshers that come to mind there may be a couple more. Hopefully you’re stall comes to a close quickly but my dietitian told me personally to stay away from the scale and not to be concerned with weight until at least 3 months post-op. Good luck!
  8. There’s no such thing as a stall one month in. There should also be no such thing as a scale to weigh yourself on or concern about your weight loss at this point. I’d like to see an update on this post at six months out when it really matters. By the way I’m five weeks out surgery January 18th & in the same boat as everyone who posted that they’re stalling a 3 to 4 weeks not trying to be rude but trying to be a realist it’s ridiculous! Calm down & stay the course.
  9. Slow & steady wins the race! Non hormonal here. 233 would be nice right about now!
  10. Premier Protein shakes! Best price at Costco & Orgain Powder on sale at Costco right now. Garden of Life plant based protein is delicious. Liquid diet means liquid. DRINK UP MY FRIEND! No cheating!
  11. Enough with the high nosed smug remarks princess!
  12. Yes again! Haven’t taken them since the day before surgery which was January 18th.
  13. lol! I hear you. I never said I enjoyed it but it was tolerable.
  14. You can do this! I did it for 28 days.
  15. Protein protein protein! Don’t deviate from the plan. I preferred Garden of Life powder with Almond milk but the Premier shakes are good to. Best deal is at Costco & I think they have Orgain powder for 7.50 off right now.
  16. If you read this before surgery ask for something to keep you calm ASAP.
  17. So far I’ve swam to China but my restrictions have now been lifted so it’s time for some core & cardio!
  18. Yes! Read my past posts. I was scheduled for surgery May 30, 2017 and I was in the hospital with the IV in my arm when I backed out and went home. This was the worst decision ever as my addiction became realized. I’m happy to say I was back in the hospital on January 18th & got sleeved. Everything went great and I so regret not doing it back in May. If you’re nervous when you go to the hospital and ask for Ativan and don’t forget to get the patch behind your ear for nausea. For me personally the surgery was more like a procedure. Everybody loses weight pre-surgery if they follow the pre-op diet but if you have an addiction to food the weight will come back like always! This is the only way to stop the real yo-yo.
  19. Are you getting in enough protein?
  20. Just mix it in a bite of food like yogurt or something.
  21. Buy a pill crusher until your able to take them.
  22. I agree. I haven’t lost as much as you but my clothes are looser already. Hope your feeling better soon.
  23. There’s really no such thing as a 3 week stall. My dietitian told me I shouldn’t even look at the scale until 3 months out. I don’t own a scale & never have so that makes it easy. I was sleeved on January 18th.
  24. Me to it’s insane! The best part is I’m ok with it. I don’t eat those things regularly but when I do a small portion is just fine. I used to order two large pizzas one for my family & one for me. Now I order half a dozen wings I can’t even finish & a medium pizza for my family. I have always loved pizza but if there’s wings available I don’t even miss it.
  25. I’ve been swimming & just started floor exercise/cardio. I used to run years ago & look forward to doing that again. Sounds like your doing great! Keep up the good work.
