  1. Ahoy there Matey welcome aboard!
  2. I absolutely will do that! I love the salads with those noodles in them! Thanks
  3. I’m actually going to try Zoodles (zucchini noodles) next time. Dietician’s orders!
  4. My wife made this tonight. Whole wheat noodles, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, and shrimp with some Parmesan cheese. I’m no renowned Chef but I post small meals on Instagram at, my_tiny_healthy_plate. First time I’ve had pasta & it wasn’t bad. Not going to make a habit of it though.
  5. You’re doing fine at 16 pounds! You really shouldn’t worry about what you lose so early on. It should be at least 2 to 3 months before you even worry about it. I called my dietitian twice already with concerns & he told me not to weigh myself or be concerned at this point. Right now just focus on following your recovery plan. Your doing great!
  6. I can eat a half a cup of food just fine. I can drink almost a 16oz bottle of water in a few gulps. I’ve had a couple of times where I almost puked from eating to fast but been eating & drinking with no problems.
  7. She’s my dietitian. If you have Instagram you can look her page up with tons of healthy ideas on itsaflavorfullife.
  8. Gotta do something with seafood tonight to!
  9. I’m almost 8 weeks post-op. Waiting for the real size change now!
  10. Thanks & you’re welcome! I try to eat good lean protein with fruits and veggies. I post a lot of my meals on Instagram. You can see them at,”my_tiny_healthy_plate”. There are so many more ideas for meals out there. This don’t have to be boring. EVER!
  11. When I was younger I wore the smaller sizes and now I’m on my way back! I can’t wait!
  12. Sounds like you’re doing well yourself!
  13. Superfood Salad surrounded by Cajun Shrimp!
  14. I’ll be 8 weeks on Thursday and I should already know this but I don’t. Can sleevers have coffee at this point? I’ve heard yes & no but wasn’t paying attention to when or at what point from surgery.
  15. Right when you get there tell them you want something to calm you down. Also ask for a patch behind your ear for nausea. You got this. Just follow the pre-op diet & drink lots of water. You’ll be fine. Remember you have to do this for you! It don’t matter what ANYONE else thinks or says. It’s 100% up to you. You got this!!
  16. I was in the hospital with the IV in my arm backed out last second & had nothing but regret until I was rescheduled 8 months later. Big mistake not getting it done earlier. That’s what it takes sometimes to have our ADDICTION TO FOOD be realized. That’s just me. Hopefully you make the best decision for you. You back out & there’s no telling how long it will be before you get rescheduled & you may have to meet requirements again. Oh joy!
  17. I was scheduled for sleeve on May 30, 2017 I was in the hospital with the IV in my arm and I backed out at the last second. That was a decision I regret to this day. I eventually got sleeved January 18 but I sure wish I could go back and have it done on the 30th. I guess that’s what it takes in order for your addiction to food to be realized!
