  1. Ooh ooh send me a KILT please!! I would so wear it around all the time!
  2. I’m doing that now & will friend request you.
  3. https://www.ketogenic-diet-resource.com/protein-chart.html But definitely don’t forget plant based proteins. Just put these up as an example. Low fat/cal high protein meats are how you fit the proper amount in your diet. Eventually I’m going to try to steer towards more of a plant-based protein diet with less meat right now at this phase I’m still discovering. It’s a work in progress to say the least.
  4. Now what bird in their right mind wouldn’t take a FluffyChix under their wing? After all I am a Seahawk!
  5. Thanks so much! Hope your finding positive results as well! Keep me posted.
  6. I started monitoring calories on an app & hitting the gym at least 3 times a week. So far so good!
  7. Ask your doctor & the group every question you gave but remember questions & concerns are two very different things. If you have concerns do research & address them yourself. Getting advice about concerns is entirely different than getting answers to legitimate questions.
  8. My surgeon puts in a tool endoscopicly during surgery that he uses as a model to measure the staple line & how big your pouch will be. Everyone’s stomach is the same size after surgery. He said the average stomach removed is 85% leaving no elasticity in most cases.
  9. I was getting over 120 g of protein at 1400 cal a day. I just got a phone call from my Dietician on 1 March and he told me to be sure not to go over 1200 cal yeah he said my range should be between 1000 and 1200 cal 120 g of protein. If you monitor your intake on an app it’s pretty easy to get to that amount. I eat three regular meals a day & depending on where my protein is I’ll have a premier protein bar or shake as a snack. Ideally you want to eat 5 to 6 meals per day at around 200 cal each. My range is 100 to 120 g of protein it’s lower for women of course.
  10. I kind of get what you’re saying. After surgery I almost felt like I didn’t have surgery but I definitely feel the fullness after small amounts of food.
  11. I haven’t been taking mine regularly I constantly forget. I had surgery January 18 that’s probably only take my vitamins 15 times. Life is busy time to set a reminder alarm.
  12. I haven’t been weighing myself much since surgery but last night at the YMCA I hit the scale & it said exactly 300 pounds. That’s a 40 pound drop. Whoop whoop!
  13. Been there & backed out on May 30, 2017. I couldn’t have regretted it more! I was back in & sleeved on January 18th & it was the best decision I have made in a long time. Ask for anxiety meds on surgery day ASAP. You’ll be fine as long as you follow plan instructions.
  14. Same thing my doc said. Everything has been great! Haven’t taken my omeprazole since surgery & pour Taco Bell fire sauce on everything I can.
  15. Wow! If that’s not the pot calling the kettle black I’ll eat my extra large shorts (that no longer fit) & save myself a trip to the goodwill. ? ? ? ?
  16. Pink bar at the top that says following
  17. Well Gerd Darnit! Don’t let that stop you. Git er done!
  18. You are the farthest THING from a Barbie ever! More like the very TROLL mentioned in this post to begin with. Buh-Bye now! Oh wait that’s Barbie talk. Well gosh darn it anyways. I don’t know goodbye in Troll.
  19. There’s nothing wrong with eating a Taco!
  20. Now that’s a lot of hot air right there!
  21. One can only wonder. Have a great day!
  22. That’s all I got to say about that!
