Ladies only - IUD or Implant?

Had Mirena for 1 year and it was the worst year of my life! Bled nonstop for 6 months followed by 2 week periods every other month, cystic acne, hair loss, anxiety, depression, and weight gain. Got it out in June and I feel like myself again! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    Gallbladder surgery vs. Sleeve surgery

Gallbladder surgery was way easier and less pain/nausea. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  6. I'm 28 and was sleeved on 10/26. I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old. My husband was home for the first week but I've been doing everything since then. I only lift my youngest when absolutely necessary (21 or 22lbs.) I'm off of work for 6 weeks due to my job requirements (I'm a nurse) I would say recovery has gone well and would highly recommend sleeve surgery....down almost 20lbs in 2.5 weeks! Sleeve vs Bypass

I'm 28 as well and just had gastric sleeve on Oct. 26th. What made me choose the sleeve is that they don't have to reroute your intestines, less Vitamin deficiencies, less food intolerances, and great outcomes! Do your research for sure and good luck! Anyone have young kids?

Can you keep me updated with how it goes for you? I really want to book my apt for January, but I am worries because my husband will only be home for the first week also. I hope your surgery goes well! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using the BariatricPal App Things are going well. Having my husband home for the first week was very helpful. It is hard with my youngest being only 18 months. I do have to pick her up (21lbs) even though I'm not supposed to bc I still have to load her in the car and get her in and out of the crib. I try to be very careful but that is the hardest thing. Otherwise, no issues here...just watching the scale go down! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
