I know all of us are food lovers. What was your "last" meal before tou started your preop diet? Mine was fettuccine alfredo from olive garden with a breadstick. After that, my husband and I split a piece of yummy white chocolate raspberry cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. More calories in one meal then I have had in the last 3 days. I'm 28 and was sleeved on 10/26. I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old. My husband was home for the first week but I've been doing everything since then. I only lift my youngest when absolutely necessary (21 or 22lbs.) I'm off of work for 6 weeks due to my job requirements (I'm a nurse) I would say recovery has gone well and would highly recommend sleeve surgery....down almost 20lbs in 2.5 weeks! It is hard with my youngest being only 18 months. I do have to pick her up (21lbs) even though I'm not supposed to bc I still have to load her in the car and get her in and out of the crib. When do we get to go to a regular diet? I was sleeved 10/26/16 and I'm finishing my last few days of full liquids. Then I have 2 weeks of pureed then I go to soft diet but it doesn't say how long the soft diet lasts before going to regular foods. What does everyone else's program say? I had mine on the 26th at 8am! First 2 days in the hospital were rough. I was discharged home on Friday morning which was the 28th. I've been off the narcotic pain medication since Monday.
