  1. Biscuits. with butter and jam
  2. Lowest 5lbs 2 oz and its been a steady rise up to 330.
  3. It's from a song lyric that I liked from the "Empire Records" soundtrack. Ready Steady Go and all the things she said Ready Steady Go was going through my head I was a total reject from the wrongside of the tract.... thats all I can remember. Plus I thought it described my situation.
  4. Bigger people face others treating them as if they are stupid or weak so much in the "normal" world, I guess when we come here some people want more sympathy and kindness and less "tough love". I know I do. Honesty doesn't have to be mean, and sometimes people should keep their opinions to themselves. It's hard to believe that someone would attack someone else here for their body size. Be it thin, fat, flat, or round. Who cares?
  5. Im glad someone agrees with me. This guy tried to flatten my little car yesterday and he didn't notice. He was too buzy texting.
  6. totally. The Ex-smoker maybe should stay out of the smokers bizz wax...but maybe the smoker doesn't smoke in the ex-smokers car. I'm an ex-smoker. I was pretty obnoxious at first, but I've toned it down. Especially cause I relapsed once.:huh2:
  7. I agree. Everything is too expensive these days. Do they really need to charge people so much for a ticket in general? How much profit do they make from each seat I wonder? Just curious. If they regular seats weren't so crazy expensive then maybe I wouldn't mind buying an extra seat...and I would have too. I am 5'2" and shaped like a bowling ball. I am not one of the lucky ones who distributes their weight with height. I am a short fatty...but I still want to fly damn it. When I am a short skinny, then I still want my beautiful fatty friends to be able to fly with me without dipping into their retirement fund.
  8. Well, I think someone who used to be large is "attacking" someone who is large now because of a statementthat they didn't feel thin was attractive on themselves. They must have taken this a little personally. If I feel that a rounder butt or a little belly pudge is cute than I am not insulting the fact that you are trim and toned. Nor am I not acknowledging how hard you worked to get there. IT's just not for me. Too be "thin" now and bad mouth "obese" people seems pretty misguided. Chill. I can be happy for you without wanting to be you and feel that we are all on a journey here. I don't think you should call someone unhealthy because they don't want exactly the same thing you do. I think that sometimes hostility directs itself at someone who is "thinner" or closer to goal might be a little bit of defensiveness from jealousy or self esteem issues. Not accusing anyone. Just stating my humble opinion.
  9. Both seem pretty misguided to me.
  10. The words "wipe" (excuse my language-->) "twat" and "blubber" oh and "gurgle" These words are like nails to a chalkboard to my ears.
  11. People. Quit texting while you drive. Please for the love of all that is good in this world put the cell phone down. That is all. Thanks for your time.
  12. Well said. I am going to be healthy...I am not healthy now. If I am healthy at a BMI of 40, then I will be happy. If I am healthy at a BMI of 20 then I will be happy. I believe it is truely individual.
  13. susan that was too funny.
  14. I agree. We do not live in a one-size-fits-all world. The price of a airline ticket is outrageous they should be able to accomodate people. Wether they are big, tall, handicapped, or just feel they have paid enough for a ticket they should have enough room to breathe.
  15. Well she seems awfully happy. Thats good.
  16. I'm glad that noone takes themselves too seriously. Has anyone seen this show- Turning up the heat with Gavin. It's on TVone where I live. He is such a good cook.
  17. Wow Angie. thats awesome. Good job.
  18. Its so hard to find good help these days.
  19. I am staying on plan today because their is that shirt in the closet that I am determined to wear soon.
  20. I just wanted to share this joke I saw somewhere. It might not be appropriate. I hope you don't mind. FoodTV- espn for fat people. I have also seen FoodTV- porn for fatties I only laugh at myself because I love high end food and cooking, and I have a biiiig butt. I do watch FoodTV with a little too much excitement. And it has only gotten more intense since being banded (not that I've been banded long) because now those itty bitty fine cruisine dinners would fill me up, when before the main course looked like an appitizer to me.
  21. I agree with you 100%. I used to just eat bread as a snack. I am addicted to bread. I love it so freaking much. Give me a glass of milk and a loaf a bread and I wouldn't need anything else. Weird, yes, unhealthy, totally. Now I eat grapefruit, or apples for Snacks. Or I have one of those little packs of tuna. Being naughty in a much less naughty way.
  22. I am sure you will find your sweet spot, don't be discouraged. Wow, I wish I could get into walking...I am trying, but incorporating new things into my schedule has always been difficult for me. congrats on the walking. You have an exercise you enjoy thats awesome.:huh2:
