Today I attended my friends funeral. He was a wonderfull and joyful person and both my husband and I loved to work in ministry with him. (we are lay leaders). His whole family and many friends attended a wonderful celebration of his life, and so he is reaping his reward. I am only posting to let you know of his passing as I requested prayer for him a few weeks ago. In Gods mercy, he went fast, but gracefully. What dignity he had, and stregnth. No fear, just peace. It was amazing. God bless you my dear brother, enjoy till we meet you again!

TOM, I cant be perfect now, I dont have perfect knowledge, but I am reghteous in Christ, so in heaven, I will still be me but redeemed by Christ so my imperfections will and are now covered by His sacrifice. I live my life for Christ Jesus, its the one thing that brings me absolute joy, to use the gifts and talents He gave me. The more I learn about His will for me, the greater and more satisfying my life becomes. I live with purpose, on purpose. My children are also in Christ, so when the rapture occurs, they will be with me, and in a perfect world, no drugs, car accidents, drive by shootings and all the other dangers that can happen here. The lion will lay down with the lamb... I could have a 900lb tiger for a pet!!! As far is causing the rapture to to be hurried along, that timing is all up to God the Father. Its gonna happen when He wants it to happen. As far as me being me, I believe that we will recognize each other in heaven. When Jesus was on the mount of transfiguration, His three deciples instantly recognized Moses and Elija, and wanted to set up camp to remain with them. AWSOME eh? We will recognize all of our ancestors! ( I think its interesting that the law giver and the phrophet were discussing things with Jesus, I wonder what they were talking about) As Jesus fulfilled all the laws and the phrophisies. ( I also think that these same two men are going to be the two witnesses in Jerusalem, because no one can prove that they ever died.) So as far as finishing my life here on earth, it means absolutly nothing to live it apart from Jesus. The ramifications of the rapture are something I cannot change. Its gonna happen. Just be ready!!:confused:

TOM, I always wanted to fly.. but reallly, to be in the presence of His Holiness, face to face, without anything distracting, no more pain, or tears, the joy of such great love. Perfection realized, my question is, what about it isn't exciting?!? Have you never pondered the beauty of it all, I mean, this world is so beautiful, it testifies to His beauty, and to instantly know the answers to all my questsions, all my wondering, all the reasons He answered prayers the way He choose and the wisdom behind the love. He is jealous for our hearts, really jealous, doesnt that fill you with any anticipation? His gaze into my spirit that knows all yet loves me still and at the same time realizing that he cleansed me from all that yuck? Uh... do you have enough time for me to really go into it? I could rave all day long, Im sure. Wow I can hardly wait.

I love the smoked salmon from Costco, it is already sliced, and it goes down so well. Its also very healty, I eat it with rye crisps, and I also love hummous, its very flavorful and goes down nicely too!

Matthew 24:4-9, "Watch out that no one decieve you for many will come in my name, claiming,"I am the Christ" and will deceive many."......All these are the biginning of birth pains.... There are many more phrophisies about this but ya'll are capable of double checking this for yourself. He is not the first one to claim this nor will he be the last. It actually excites me as the rapture cant be far now! Maranantha!! When bank tellers are trained to find counterfiet money, they handle real money day after day and when the counterfiet passes through their hands the can tell quite accurately. Im an advocate in studying the "Real" Christ and the counterfiet wont surprise me, aside from that the assurance of the guidence of the Holy Spirit will guard my heart. Carlene, I agree with you wanting to have both girls treated fairly, even if neither is in the wedding party. I think people lose site of the fact that a wedding is supposed to be a commitment to a family way of life, and it looks as though there are a lot of broken relationships in the family to begin with. (not a comdemnation, just what I read) . I dont believe in coddling up to the bridezilla idea, sure its her choice with whome to invite but, you are correct in protecting family relationships between the two younger sisters. You may not be the popular one in the imediate future, but in the years to come, the sisters will see the wisdom in treating them fair and square. If my sister sacrificed something like that for me, I would, and do,(by the way) love her all the more for it. It says that there is no circumstance more important than a sisters love for each other. I hope you have peace about your decision whatever that becomes.

So precious,,wow, you have the greatest influence on your daughter than anyone else in the world. Teaching her to care about yourself will give her more dignity and self esteem than any single thing or person in her life. You go mama!! What a wonderful victory!! Thank you for sharing.

Did you notice how many people view this board? Its amazing to me and from what I can figure, about 8 to ten percent actually post. That is incredible and this info is all free to us. I know that there are many that get support just by lurking (I say that affectionatley!) so when a few post about thier problems with PBing, its truly a small percent. And I think that if the truth be told, PBing and sliming and all that rot are not always controllable, I for one do great with one food and a week later, have a problem with it without ever knowing why. I dont think I am an anomily, especially since I attend a local support group and this seems to be the norm. The things that get posted on other boards are just that, another post. IF they found matching DNA on from both aritcles, It probably would come from the tester, or it could be DNA from pollen or plant fibers etc, Remember that all DNA on the entire earth varries by not more than 3 percent so they would have to have several and I mean several samples that need to match the human genome script, letter for letter, this is not very likely, but I do like to entertain all kinds of "what if" scenarios, thats what makes life interesting, and that kind of questioning is what leads to learning. I read that someone believes that humans decended from monkies because our DNA varies by only two percent, Well Duh, That kind of difference is HUGE! All human DNA varies within a margin, if I remember corectly by less than .05 percent, if by that much. Ill try to find the correct percent so I wont be spouting anything that would start a debate, I would never would want that!! lol this is fun

I have been chewing on something, especially that ther are scriptures that say the Holy One will not see decay, its one of the four hundred plus phrophesies that were fulfilled in Christ Jesus. The other thing I have been chewing on is the fact that the folks that claim they have DNA evidence to prove that those bones are from Jesus reallly bothered me. There cant be any way that this can be proven. I have in the beginning of my faith really probed spricptures about any mention of genetics and I was astonished when I did a word study from Genesis on how Eve was taken from the rib of man. The true translation is that God took the CURVE from the side of man. This curve is also used to discribe the bones in a ship, etc. When I studied genetics in college, of course one of the first and most obvious things you learn is how the DNA threads are organizen into a double helix, which is unwound or unzipped rignt down the middle when cells divide. I then was struck with the thought that man has the XY chromosome, and woman has XX. I think that God took the X side of the mans chromosome and made Eve the XX, and then man remained XY. That means that the X side of the genetic factor became Eve. Now I know that others will probably laugh at me but thats ok. I will be called crazy for Christ anyday and be all the happier for it. Now when we divide our cells to make ovum and sperm, that explains why the man can only contribute the possobility of the gender assignment. Anyway, my post is way out of the threads flow but this was a thread to discuss the possible bones and coffin of Jesus. So that why I posted my comment here! Thx.

I cant believe you would even entertain this bunk, it is total fiction, and yes Jesus was ressurected and did ascend into heaven, the same way He will return. There are no bones to find, and He certainly did not marry Mary Magdelen, much less father a child. Letha is right, this is a perfect example of the phrophesy that a different gospel would be preached that would tickle the ears of people and this certanily is a different Jesus that the one in the Holy Bible. C'mon, DNA evidence? Just not possible. I dont care if I am politically incorrect on this one, it is pure garbage and I am sad that anyone Christian or otherwise would even look twice at this. So T. I think I have those thoughts too, but the folks I know that really have long term weight issues sort of yo-yo. I know of a few friends that have had wls and thier weight loss is very substantial (sp) but I think that morbid obesity is just beginning to be understood, wondering if people have had surgery I think is natural. Im sure it doesnt make you feel any different about them, right? I just feel happy that there is any way available to overcome the pain of obesity. I hope you have good sucess!

Hey there!! I remember you and all of us drift in and out at times, I think you are doing the right thing, I think I am fighting the urge to stall out, and one thing that is different for me is that when I was at my heaviest, I was always feeling so miserable, back pain, sore feet, no energy, no motivation, isolating, clothes were always biting me somewhere, especially BRAS!! and all I did everyday was think about food from five minutes to the next. Now I feel so free, Its hard to stay focused. So I have decided to buy tight and umcomfortable clothes. I wear tight bras, tight pants that I can cover with long shirts and when I sit down for very long, I feel miserable again and I cant wait for the evening when I can let loose again. This has helped me some, It sort of recreates the beginning of my journey. I hope it helps me stay focused beyond these 75 lbs, as I have 50 to go!! I also get rid of my comfy clothing as fast as I can so I cant go back that way again! Do you remember why you became banded in the first place? Arent you a different person now, so to speak? Good to hear from you again. I have familly in AZ, and I remember camping near Pinetop,(I know you are in Pinedale) and hearing the coyotes cry, its such an awsome call. (and the crickets!)

I think there are a lot of people that would love to help others, both financially and emotionally. The people who run this forum do it for us, without pay and if you will notice, no advertisments!!! Many of us give financially to charities that are already up and running. As far as getting a charity up and off the ground, its no small feat, taxes, not for profit, etc. It takes thousands of dollars just to get it rolling. I think that originally no one may have posted because what you were asking for was something outside of what this forum was intended for, and most people come here looking for support, and some of us get stretched pretty thin at times. I hope you dont feel snubbed, really as I have found everyone here very supportive and kind. Your idea is a benevolent one, but one that might have more sucess in a face to face brainstorming with insurance companies, perhaps.

JohnQ, so sorry to hear about her pain. I admire your courage to post in the midst of what you are dealing with and of course, It is my privlidge to pray for her. I am in agreement with you,.. Lord Jesus, we so humbly ask that you give stregnth and grace to John and his mother durring this time in her life, May you fill John with the ablilty to comfort his mom as she comforted him as a mother. I pray your blessings upon them both as he honors your first commandment to us as children to honor our mother and father, bless his faith Lord. Mostly Lord we thank you for redeeming love you have shown to us, we know your love for her is greater that we could imagine. May the sacrifice of worship open the heavenly doors to her so she may enter into your presence to at last be face to face, full of her joy to be with you within the veil of the Holy of Holies. We love you Lord, we praise you, and rest in your love for us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen Bless you my brother.
