  1. I certainly didn't mean it to sound offensive. Again, the men in my family (both sides) keloid but I didn't. I just like to learn.
  2. Awwwwww, puppies!!! They're soooooo teeny! I've noticed that there's a blonde cat hangin' 'round my house lately. I'm not hatin' on but I hope it isn't waiting on me to feed it cuz that ain't happenin'! (I have morf into over-the-top southern speak sometimes. I try not to have a strong accent but yanno) She - I was gonna cuss you today for giving me insomnia but will refrain since you're under the weather. I was still awake at 2:18am. wth? Plain - you wussy!
  3. Nah, I'll be OK. I'm going to use the banding surgery as a "new beginning." No more soda and no more sugar. I've gotten off the sugar once, I know I can do it again. It's funny b/c my doctor hasn't mentioned anything about getting off soda. I asked him point blank and he doesn't agree with the notion that it causes slippage. I've seen too many folks post on here that their docs are anti-soda so I'm just going to go with that. Both of my parents are DC addicts as well so I came by it honestly but there is nothing there nutritionally for me so again, I'm going with the mindset that it's bad for me! :tt1:
  4. Humming the "Twilight Zone" theme song...
  5. AMEN!!! The men in my family keloid but I did not during my thyroidectomy. I do remember my father telling me that an AA woman had the surgery right after I did and she did keloid. I'm white - I wonder if other people of color keloid. Things that make me go hmm.
  6. Handing Susan some gouda....
  7. You healthcare people and your realities, sheesh.
  8. That's interesting, san, I hadn't heard those stats.
  9. Ha!!! Better you than the worker stalker! BTW - you have lost 12 pounds since I've known you! Good job!!
  10. So, let me get this straight, Slim, you're for it?
  11. Why thank you, Plain! Yeah, I bet I know what two points you want them attached to!!!

I'm not familiar with WSOP but I presume that means you're face-to-face? If I were you, the next time one of the sexist jerks gets knocked out, put on your best condescending face and say, "Aww, too bad SWEETIE." You're a Laura too; I'm sure you have a "go to hell" face also! Can I get an AMEN!?!
  13. 16th here too! My doc is only having me do 2 days of liquids. Are y'all staying overnight?
  14. What about taking a hot bath or shower?? I also do deep breathing exercises to slow my mind down. I haven't done this in a while but i used to start at my feet and tense those muscles and then relax. Work your way up to your head so you know you aren't tensing; esp my jaw! The first step is admitting it, Plain. I don't even know what an EMG is!
  15. OK so clearly I need to do some research b/c I don't know what foods contain sugar alcohols. I'm a diet coke addict and wonder if the aspartame(?) in it makes me hungrier and/or makes me less full.
  16. Plain - you are such a stalker!
  17. Lulu - congrats on the 8 puppies. Whew - 8. I hope momma lab and Lulu are both doing ok!

Actually no, it's a vibe. For example, there are 2 black guys at work that, b/c they both shave their heads and are more muscular, get confused for the other. When the better looking one opens his mouth and you immediately get the "do I need to call HR" creepy vibe whereas the one that's less attractive (tho not fugly) opens his mouth and he is very funny and not creepy which makes him more attractive. Make sense??
  21. She - your God doesn't like playing footsie? :crying: Wrong UT there, Plain-o!
  22. Yes you are correct! I don't know what happened to Fat Phil (coach). We badly need Colquitt back as offensive coach but he's determined to be a head coach (um unsuccessfully, it seems). Thankfully I only go into work once next week so hopefully it won't be too painful since I'm not a gloater when we win. Now to remember NOT to wear red+black Friday...!
  23. Ugh I'm having to listen to the local news talk about the Dawgs hosting my Vols. It's gonna be ugly, Plain. :-(
  24. Well, look at you being all organized! Thanks for the info!
  25. Thanks Renewed. I don't know how the 'regular' Gas-X comes - is it a pill, a liquid, or a chewable??
