Michele - I'm sorry that you hurt so much. I really didn't hurt much at all. The nurse even commented that I didn't hit my morpheine drip much. I'm 2 weeks out today and every once in a while have a wee bit of tenderness where the port is but that's all. I was lucky and had no gas though, thankfully.

Plain - I really do hope you are not painting all liberals with the "stupid" paint brush. My undergrad is in poli sci and I have an MBA. As I have stated numerous times, we are electing a President, not a dictator. The fact that Bush's approval numbers are in the TOILET, I think it's "stupid" to support someone that's voted with Bush 90% of the time. Of course, if Cheney had it his way, the President would've been dictator with the Congress and Supreme Court as mere secondary annoyances. Clearly, Cheney ain't much for the Constitution either. Gadget - with your often and longggggg posts, how do you make time to also teach children? I'd be too wiped out to do all that research.

SNOW?!? We think it's cold here because it's been nearing freezing at night! I'm doing fairly well with my scale. I got to -13.5 lbs and the TOM came and I'm down -10 currently. Damned water weight; grr. How can I be on 800 cals and not be losing? Annoying!!! PS - our Senate race is very tight and I cannot wait for the election to be over so that I no longer have to hear these 2 idjuts sling mud at each other!
