  1. Our local Safeway stores have hot soups. I went down there and ladled out the broth from their "chunky chicken noodle" by the time that I was done it was super chunky! I would grin from ear to ear thinking about the next person going "what the heck happened to the soup?".
  2. I had the best medical experience that has ever been had in my family in Mexico. I trust my surgeon more than any hospital within 500 miles of me.
  3. For whatever reason avocado has always been a natural laxative that is extremely fast working for me. I can certainly report that post op that is still the case! Is there any food that you had pre-op that can help you push it out?
  4. I should mention that during the camping, hunting, barbecuing and smoking meats I would only have one per day.
  5. For me I gave up soda 90+% years ago when I problems with aspartame. I was drinking 2-3 44 ounce Diet Dr Peppers daily. The only time that I have had soda since is when we were camping, hunting, barbecuing and smoking meats. In fact I will be smoking a pork loin and a bunch of salmon today. Henry Weinhard's root beer is certainly in my memory and may perhaps someday be something where I have one on a special occasion.
  6. We did a version of the ricotta bake tonight. I'm not a big fan of marinara so instead we used classical light Alfredo sauce. We also added imitation crab and portobello mushrooms. Pretty darn good stuff!
  7. Hmmm. I may have made a mistake. I didn't think about the carbonation in phosphates. Buurrrrrppppp, burp, bu, burp, BBBBRRRAAAAPPPPP!!!, burp,burp... I know that all of you are wondering what in the hell was going through my mind. I used to take my boy here a couple of times of year. This is a local soda fountain that offers every flavor in sugar-free as well. So yes I had a dirty monkey. Which is chocolate and banana flavors with acid phosphate that is similar to seltzer Water. If you're curious and also seems to work well as a laxative! Oops I forgot the picture!
  8. At 3 weeks out I still can't do plain water. I can do propel water. I really like the mandarin orange flavor.
  9. Not everyone in the medical field graduated at the top of their class...
  10. I was sleeved on the same day you were and smells don't bother me but my sister made chocolate cupcakes with raspberry cream cheese frosting while she was here and my wife made a Mississippi Mud cake for her birthday on the 12th. No big deal. I took all of the left overs to work. Now the heavenly banana bread that she made the other day I immediately took to our neighbors because I swear she makes it with crack.
  11. Nicely done! You look super cute in front of the sink
  12. Please tell me that you are an author, journalist or a part time contributor to mad magazine!
  13. I know that it is not what you are thinking of but among the 3 key people in our office we have been using focus as an acronym. F... Off Cuz Ur Stupid It is our way of blowing off without blowing up.
  14. And this might sound odd coming from a younger guy. I work for an oxygen and respiratory company. I've seen many older women who have had a mastectomy. Their confidence and feeling of self worth just isn't what it is for those that have had reconstruction. The few that I've known that have had reconstruction have totally changed their outlook, drive and overall happiness. One of the ladies wore v neck shirts again and she became a HUGE cougar! She showed me her girls just she was so excited. Not necessarily what I wanted to see but unfortunately I've seen more groovy grannies and gravity grandpas in the past 12 years than I ever wanted. No offense! So yes, let's hear it for the girls! I fully "support" your decision!
  15. Fooling around 2 days post op. Slow and steady 5 days. Like a teenager with raging hormones... 9 days.
  16. I'm in week 3 post op and on soft foods. I'm not constipated but I've had a turd fermenting for 3 days.
  17. I can tell you for sure that she doesn't have rocks other than on her wedding ring She does have wonderful curves though!
  18. You don't have to totally go back. Just try something different.
  19. Bolingbrook. 12-14 years ago I was engaged to a woman who wore a size 12 pant. Boy was she pissed when I was 310-320 pounds and I could fit in those 12's better than her! I carry most of my weight in my torso.
  20. I'm here in Oregon. We like our old growth timber. That and I'm not crazy or stupid enough to wax around the twig and berries again.
  21. Lookin good! My sister and brother in law live just outside of Chicago and they are huge Blackhawk fans as well as Oregon Ducks fans.
