  1. We were treated absolutely amazing in Mexico! I trust my surgeon and his team more than any health care provider in my area and I work in the health care industry.
  2. I like most veggies except for squash and brussel sprouts. Squash should be squashed and brussel sprouts look amazingly like donkey turds. Give me some fungus growing in cow patties though and I'm in!
  3. I work for an oxygen company. When my niece started smoking at the lovely age of 16 I took her over a cannula (oxygen nose piece) and a retired steel cylinder. I told her that she needed to wear it everywhere around the house . I also found an out of warranty oxygen concentrator that I removed the filter from so it rattled like mad and let it run 24-7 in her bedroom. I told her that if she still wanted to smoke then I'd never say another word other than "thanks for being my future paycheck". Unfortunately for her I had identity theft and was living in a travel trailer on my sisters property so as soon as I got home from work I made sure that she was wearing her "oxygen". She hated me that week but she's never smoked since.
  4. Dang. Thought for sure you were going to say "The b***h is Back". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App As requested by my mom the first 3 songs played after her funeral were Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John, The bitch is back and Grandma got run over by a reindeer. This may give some insight as to my background.
  5. The Tikka T3 in stainless with the fluted barrel was the plan for Jeanna's hunting rifle but when she won her Howa 1500 in a raffle at a country music festival it was tough to justify the cost.
  6. I used Dr Almanza with no issuesSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App Go buy a lottery ticket!
  7. Check out the gorgeous color to that flesh! The only way that you get that in a regular supermarket is if the add color to the fish. Our next major firearms purchase will have to wait a bit due to our medical costs this year and expected costs next year but when that time comes I'll buy my sweetie a Kimber Ultra Carry II with the Crimson Trace grips. After her brain tumor she's had difficulty at night. In fact I won't let her drive at night. A Kimber 1911 would make me more comfortable for when I'm away for work.
  8. Ahhh the bang bra. Perfect for when you're "packing"! I used to carry a Smith and Wesson .357 K frame when traveling or in the woods. You can see it in the leather holster in the back of the Yukon. I "downgraded" to a Ruger LCRX .38 special +P. It is just over a pound loaded. The S&W is a damn brick hanging on my hip. The LCRX is a great pocket holster gun. I used to carry a Sig Sauer 229 .40 but I had it fail to fire when it was needed. I used to ride quads and we came upon a grow site in the woods. After getting shot at I wanted to shoot 2 rounds to let them know that we were armed too. Pull the trigger and nothing. I disassembled the Sig at home and found a single grain of sand stopping the slide. It held it open .020". I'll never trust a semi auto again. My sweetie carries full time in a Montana West concealed carry purse. Her gun of choice is a Ruger LCP-S 9mm. Before everyone thinks that we are paranoid gun nuts. I was an NRA certified instructor at a Boy Scout camp. Our Sheriff's don't respond to anything after 5pm due to funding because they pissed the taxpayers off and we won't approve their bogus tax increases.
  9. This is the reason why I won't go to my local hospital. I call it the feed and farm. They flat out suck! They literally recommend that you take a sharpie marker and write what procedure you want done in the area of your surgery to "avoid confusion". You would have better luck with a drunken buddy performing your surgery while watching youtube to figure out what to do.
  10. She has guns and arrows too!Walther P22's (we bought his and hers for our first anniversary) 1911 .45 ACP .17 HMR Getting ready to clean after an afternoon of shooting Jeanna sighting in her Howa .270 Winchester before hunting season last year. Archery practice in our front yard. One of her split arrows. Another afternoon of shooting. I believe that this was when I got my .38 special. Teaching Casey to count one 9mm round at a time. Some people would call this an "assault rifle" it's just a .22. I may as well trust her with a fillet knife and she has access to all of the above or do what is being done in the pictures below. Yes that's correct that is my sweetie with a plasma cutter. If I want my truck and do a couple thousand pieces all it would take would be for me to piss her off right!
  11. The wife out fishes me every single dang time! The last cast of the day and I brought in the rainbow on the bottom. Jeanna sets her pole down on the dock with the spinner just about a foot in the water and she caught the one with the dollar bill on it. Look at how much fatter that beautiful rainbow is than mine. Of course it is longer too!
  12. My thoughts on the not being able to have something is that it is like going to a strip club. No matter how much ya wanna, ya ain't gonna get any! For the record I've only spent 2 nights in strip clubs and both of those were for bachelor parties. I had no problems leaving there and I had no problems cooking for a bunch of family and friends the weekend after my surgery. That is blackberry bbq chicken boobies, bacon wrapped mushroom, onion, garlic and parsley stuffed chicken thighs in my smoker, that is cauliflower mash with potatoe skins stolen from my mother in law, asparagus, broccoli balls and not pictured on the table was a nice salad.
  13. I figured that I can call her damn near anything after her being pregnant and then having problems with milk production after my son was born. I was on the phone talking to my sister and she asked how it was going and I explained that Jeanna was like a regular heifer! She said oh God don't tell her that! I said that I already had. I guess that makes Mrs. Fat Man easy to swallow...
  14. My brother-in-law took a frozen ham from here through the airport to Chicago. Get yourself a fish and a plane ticket and come on out to Oregon!
  15. Valentina, I know that you are going to see these fillets and you'll cry. Don't worry, I have officially handed over the fillet knife to Mrs. Fat Man!
  16. We fired up the smoker today and have a little bit of fun with pork and salmon. The first thing I did was this pork loin. It is a real simple apple wood smoke and I drizzled it with about a quarter of a cup of honey. Next up salmon smoking time! This is a very simple brine of brown sugar and salt. Once again they were smoked with apple wood and honey. This one is my brother-in-law's. As you can see it isn't a pretty chrome color and the flesh reflects that. My beautiful wife caught this one! Beautiful coloring means beautiful meat!
  17. Annndddddd I'm obviously full of crap! Yes, I had problems with certain things, I still can't drink water. I just give things a day or two and try again. My "trick" for eating too fast is to immediately split my food into 2 piles and eat just half, 20-30 minutes later I eat the other half. I'm a work in progress as my wife will tell you...
  18. This is actually pretty genius!! LOL Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App This is a great idea. You can bet I'm doing this next time I'm at Stator Bros! Hehe Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I have my moments of genius!
  19. I have the smoker going with a pork loin at the moment. After that is my sweeties salmon. After my hack job massacre of filleting it. There was enough clean up on the carcass to make a salmon spread. I cooked the salmon in lemon and let it cool. Later I adied dill relish, Greek yogurt and old bay seasoning. I took some and put it on cheddar cheese. Pretty darn tasty!
  20. My goal is 34 pants and a large shirt fitting properly. I could care less what the actual number says.
  21. I put it in a travel coffee mug from a local coffee company and sipped away everywhere I went. I just looked like an everyday coffee freak out on the town.
