You guys had to pay to start the process? I don't pay anything until surgery. What the insurance doesn't cover anyway. I guess every place is different.

I so agree with this. I get tired of seeing all the negative things people say. I come here for positive information and all these people are saying it's the worst mistake they made etc. It's annoying. Even after seeing all of the negativity I am still going to get banded in November.

I had that problem for 4 weeks a few weeks ago. I went to my gyn he said I was fine. I hadn't had a period for 3 months before that and had it last 1 month when I did get it and the whole time it was very heavy like yours.

I have a heart murmur. My first consultation with the nurse she heard an irregular heartbeat. I was just told I had to get an EKG first and then I could have surgery if it was okay.

I don't know if anyone else on here does Walk away the pounds by Leslie Sansone. But I love it! I have the 1 mile walk, 2 mile walk, and I am planning to get 3 and 4. I love the stretchy band and how she cordinates upper body with walking and not just walking. Kicking, lifting your knees. It's actually a wonderfully awesome healthy workout. Anyone else do these videos?:confused2:

My BMI starting was 61.9 and i started at 419 pounds. I start month 2 of my 6 month diet for insurance on June 4th and I'm already down to 410.5. Well I am probably less now but I don't get weighed again until the 4th. My surgeon thinks this surgery is perfect for me. People my size and even bigger/smaller have lost with this surgery and I am so looking forward to having it sometime around November! Good luck! Also I forgot to say I'm 5'9 LOL
