thank you all for sharing your answers and story!! so yesterday after post my question..i was walking to the bathroom and i feel my tampon get pushed out of me and fall in my undies....i ran to the bathroom and a golfball size of tissue had pushed my tampon out!! i was freaking out...i called my husband to come cuz i mean this thing was huge!!! some i just hoped in the shower ever since then no more blood...i have spotted but nothing else........wtf is going on....my docs appt is monday

I haven't had a normal cycle since i started gaining weight a few years ago...well im down 45lbs (yay) and i started spotting well yesterday i have really bad cramps so i figured yay period is back...i've been going through about 10 tampons plus 10 pads since yesterday..its very strong and very red blood i dont mean to be gross but when im on the toliet even before i pee the bowl water turns pink from all the blood...normally i'd be at my doc telling him this but my company decided to cancel everyones health insurnace and not tell them...so ladies has anyone else had this problem..i dont know if its because i havent had it in a long time and it needs to get cleaned out or what but im freaking out....help.....

I need some prices on how much it cost to get a band removed....my mom has a bad port infection that is working its way up to her band...the doc in the CA said he would remove it for 13000$......wayyyyyy out of her budget..she had her band placed in mexico sooo anyone know the price for having it removed in mexico......if u have prices please post...im going around lika mad person calling different docs and searching at the same time!!!

the clinics name is Obesity Goodbye and Dr is Dr. Rios, the surgeon is Dr Ponce de leon and Dr Sergio (Sergio is the original dr who placed her band)

the dr in the us did some other kind of scan, the dr said it would show if there was anything wrong. He told her the band is in place and looks good.

My mom had her banded placed in Mexico last june. She hasn't had any problems until recently when she reached her goal weight her port was right under her skin and was visble. she called the dr in mx and he said he could put it deeper in her tummy to solve the problem it would be $1000.00. So my mom said ok lets go for it she was scheduled for surgery last saturday. My dad and a friend drove her down there and they told her it would be $1500.00 even though they had told her $1000.00 before. So she said fine, She didnt want to get into it with them after all they are about to cut her open. Right before she is about to go into surgery they tell her the dr who original put the band in here was out of town and and the other dr they have will be preforming the surgery. My mom was a little worried but it was already to late to call it off. So shes in surgery for 30mins the dr comes out and tells my dad her body is rejecting the band and the band is 15% in her stomach!!!!!! and that they cant remove it until its about 65% in her stomach. My dad really couldnt understand them because this new drs english isnt very good.!! and instead of the $1500.00 he only charged $700.00! So my they came back to the states and my mom went to our family dr who ran some tests and said there is nothing wrong. he took x-rays, had her do the barium stuff but everything is perfect!!!! anyone else have had problems like this?? now i need to find a good dr in mexico or the U.S that can do her port surgery any suggestions?? i know this is very long sorry!:smile:

Hi just wondering how many of you have had to have your port moved or had to get it replaced with a newer thinner one and how much did it cost?

It wasn't anything sharp its just from the port rubbing back and forth. she is schedule for a port replacement saturday

So the port can be replaced?

My mother was banded last July...she lost about 60lbs and her port is right under skin like you can feel it and see it. Well today the port broke out o her tummy...she has little tube of the band sticking out of her.....the doctor said its normal for people who lost too much weight..so now they have to do in and put the port in deeper in her tummy...anyone else have heard of this happening?? cuz i've lost weight and i can already feel mine :sneaky:
