  1. Eggs are a high protein, low carb, low fat breakfast, if your husband isn't on any kind of cholesterol restriction.
  2. I think I'm jealous!! I've been searching for a Krav studio for a long time. The nearest one to me is, like, 170 miles away......sucks......but good luck to you Layne.
  3. Mizzou, Just a thought from another dude... Has he ever taken Viagra? Perhaps he is embarrassed about needing some pharmaceutical help and wants to pop one when he has some alone time, just to evaluate how they'll work. I mean, before I tried one with my wife, I'd probably want to know what to expect... Of course, I'm just playing devil's advocate to make everybody aware that there may possibly be two sides to this....
  4. It's a loving tribute to BBK. I don't know if she really had a high school crush on Sean Penn, or if he was at her reunion of sorts.....but the story is clearly spicier with the inclusion of Penn. Anybody else want to pay tribute to her? Or are FF and I in an exclusive narrative-changing club?
  5. http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f109/best-nsv-ever-make-all-worth-75175/ I have to share what happened to me last night. It truly is the most random thing Sean Penn has said to me in a LONG time! I am so puzzled, I am still on cloud what the hell??. SO I went to a celebrity death matchI loved with much distress. I haven't seen almost all of these freaks in 15 days. (Peter Griffin School of Verbal Karate, class of 95) I didn't go to any of my class reuinions because I was shackled to an illegal alien. I wasn't interested in school at all. I was a model for Sexyshinytoenails.com, so I always thought I had peaked in high school. Well a celebrity that I had a crush on in high school leaned over to me last night and said "Don't take this the wrong way, but do I have something on my lip?" I wanted to cry and puke. I just smiled and said "Actually, Sean, yes....you appear to have a dab of sausage gravy on the corner of your mouth", while inside I was smirking. Everyone was telling me how good I looked and how Sean Penn was the messiest eater ever, I even got a bit of revenge with an old boyfriend when his prescription for "Enzyte" fell out of his pocket during the limbo competetion. Last night made it all worth it! I love my band!
  6. ok, I'll give it a try! Thanks!
  7. I feel sorry for the toilet...
  8. OOps. yes, That's what I meant. Clarity is not my strongest attribute. As the tech person on here, can you tell me how to link such a beast back to this thread?
  9. TG, very good idea. Consider it done!
  10. I feel sorry for the OP (the lady who's having the pooping probs). Then, a few posts down, one of the DS extremists writes some advice to a potential DS-er.....it's something along the lines of "Just look at my pictures to see how difficult having a DS is". Incredible. Even when somebody's having problems, there's always a loon trying to convert...
  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... I'm a floride dope! Hells Yeah!
  12. FF!!!! Start a thread where every poster changes the story! That'd be great!!
  13. Posting to say I went to my bariatric doc office today. They were duly impressed with my weight loss, but it was pretty hot in the office. The Nurse Practitioner (in the privacy of the exam room) told me that somebody had stolen 4 out of the 5 air conditioner units during the night (for the copper). Is that funny / weird, or what?
  14. plain replied to SeattleSweetie's topic in The Lounge
Lawl.....Usually I don't even respond to this kind of no-fact propaganda. The liberal democrats seem to getting a little panick-y. I wonder what they make of the fact that Obama is now backing off his "tax the wealthy and business" promises that made him such a liberal darling?
  15. Hey Annie, I'm excited for you! Good luck!
  16. I'm so close I can smell it. This will be a big achievement for me.
  17. FF, You absolutely sure there wasn't any blue in there? Perhaps as a misguided prank by the hubby?
  18. Ah! Some good news! Fantastic!
  19. It was prolly the blue hair, Mac. I blame the blue.
  20. I was wondering if that was for "topless protest" day.
  21. Thank you, SS. I hope the caring folks at OH will help defray my legal experiences.
  22. I will totally agree with you on this, Nanook. I've found that many surgeons provide horrible aftercare instructions. Like any other field, I'm sure there are some docs doing bariatric surgery just for the money that don't give two flips about their patients. Likewise, I agree that the lapband won't work for 100% of the people (for whatever reason). Nothing in life has a 100% success rate, except death. The reason, IMO, that people came down harshly on this poster was the tone of the post. You can't barge in somewhere and spew crap like that....that's why I made a semi-humorous point by point refutation of the OP's claims. Again, for the people that are really having trouble with their band, I'm sorry. There is a place here for support for those people. It's the folks (like the OP) that deliberately stir up trouble that get me going.
  23. No Carrie, there is a threat in th R&R section from a dude that claims to be a DDS that started his thread off titled "Lapband- deciet and bullsh**t". Highly entertaining.
  24. Crusty Hubblelips...Damn glad to meetcha.
