Manatee, your success is inspiring. I'd say that you deserve to be at the top o' the page with BBK, but that'd make me sound too gay. note- not meant to offend anybody that is gay.

Spoken like a true bibliophile, tap. I'm one too. Leslie's getting hit on! Leslie's getting hit on!! That's not harassment......or I never would have said it to my grandma!
  4. What, me? Never. Ok, that was a lie.
  5. Awesome. Now I'm unstoppable! Heh.
  6. Obesity Help - Weight Loss Surgery, Obesity Support Groups, Obesity Forums, Surgical Procedures But go there at your own risk
  7. First, congrats on the weight loss! Good job. I know that I didn't hear the tone of what was said, but is it possible that this person was, in their own way, trying to give you a compliment? It sounds like something I would say when I wanted to compliment somebody but keep things light. Example: Me: wow, you've lost a lot of weight. You look great. (comes off as kind of creepy and direct. bad) Me: Hey, look at you. If you lose any more weight we'll lose sight of you! (trying to honor the achievement of losing the weight, but being a little more "playful" about it)
  8. Susan, are you calling me a noob?!? lol
  9. Well, to be fair, you are kind of a nerd, grammergirl.......heehee....
  10. No worries, Sue. Gotta be careful what you read over there, though. Actually, you have to be careful with what you read over here,too.....but we're more wacky and lovable.
  11. Here's something that pains me to ask. How does the multiquote button work? C'mon, you bunch o' smarties, help me out here.
  12. Tap, what is "XSD"?
  13. Well, there was that whole bacon thing. Ummmmmm, bacon......
  14. Is this the vicodin talking?
  15. SNT, You're gonna kick ass with the band! There's really not much advice I can give except to take lots of before pics. Seriously. Even if nobody but you ever sees them. I will be expecting great things from you.
  16. OMG.....This is The most insightful political commentary I have ever read!!! You really nailed it, drstan!! (I hope my use of punctuation doesn't render my message unreadable)
  17. plain replied to annieM's topic in Rants & Raves
Agree with stevegoad. I don't think anybody for either candidate will change their vote. The debate was kind of a letdown, IMO......Gee, the two of them moving closer and closer to the political middle as the race tightens up....who'd of thunk it?!?
  18. Wasa, nobody was dissing Viscio. Well, there was that one comment about how the complaint was worded, but that's only tangentally connected to Viscio the person (for all we know, an assistant could have been involved in the work-up). The rest of the thread was pretty much dedicated to slamming OH. Because they suck (It's not libel if it's true, heehee).
  19. Things have to realllllllllly sllllllllllllllow here at work before I turn to OH. It is really unbearable, but "the man" has blocked most of my accessable websites. Thank goodness they don't know about www.nudeweepingcheetoeaters.com....
  20. Kat, I'd probably apply dark makeup around my eyes and giggle uncontrollably. Then I'd loudly ask if "anybody has any spare change...I want a hotdog". Then I'd pretend to fall asleep in the bleechers. That's just me. I love messing with people in my small town.
  21. I'm totally trash-talking right now, but here goes: When I've exhausted the LBT posts, sometimes I go to OH. It sucks bigtime. Everything is so schizoid and disconnected that trying to follow anything on there gives me a huge headache. That's all.....carry on, people.
  22. There is a successful weightloss pill. It's called "valium". Take a fistfull every day and watch as you forget to eat! It's E-Z!!* *Side effects may include dependency / death. Results not typical. Your results may vary.
  23. lol, thanks Gadget....that's exactly what I was trying to work out!!
