  1. Hey, I have a big van and some chloroform.....er...I mean I have a friend that might have some supplies...
  2. Sorry, I didn't think anybody would notice. My bad.
  3. Outrageous!! But maybe they're filming Deathly Hollows back-to-back or something?
  4. Hey dawn...welcome to the site. There's a lot of info on here. Just pick a catagory and start reading. I'm confident you will find answers. Good luck!
  5. Well come on in and start reading! There is a ton of information here!! Glad to have you, and good luck!
  6. Yee-Haw!! I'm typing naked!!! It's a little awkward, because I'm at work. I wish my prudish patients would quit whining....If I'm ok working naked, then who the hell are they to complain, right?
  7. Somehow I would like to see pics of Mac freaking out. They, in no way, could match the mental pics I have of that. Seriously, why the freak out? Everything will play out fabulously. You know this.
  8. Googling pictures of trains? Seriously? Although I know lots of people like trains, models of trains, etc.....spending any significant amount of time googling pics of trains sounds vaguely fetish-like.
  9. I should have listened to DJ Froggi Frog.....
  10. Ok, so I went to OH R&R section. It stank.
  11. Well, to be honest, I've seen a lot of "skin-a-max" movies, but I only usually watch for 5 minutes or so <----- gratuitous masturbation joke.
  12. All puns purely unintentional..... I think I read you are going to give the sleeve a shot, Mac? Or am I confused?
  13. Be sure and loudly proclaim "Oh, I accidentally dropped my stapler", then bend over slowly and pick it up. That's my best move....it drives the ladies wild at work* *By ladies, I mean my imaginary friends.....hey, screw you for judging me!!
  14. SNT, say what you want, but every "after-hours" Cinemax movie has this in the script at some point.
  15. Don't threaten me, Missy! Haven't you heard? I'm a bad ass!

Ron - that's why we're here dude! Accountability to your fellow band-mates will help you out when you hit a misstep. 30 lbs lost still means you are doing great....but we all know you'll improve upon that. Fenton - I was wondering where in the hell you've been hiding yourself...
  17. Almost every forum (even job-related ones) that I belong to has a rule like this. No big deal, man. Stay and chitchat!
  18. Yeah....the men's room is boring.
  19. Hi Juli, I'm Plain......a guy.....and I'm a butt-inski that frequently puts my nose into the powder room where it doesn't belong. It seems to me that there are 2 very seperate issues at play here. The whole "I love him but I'm not in love with him" thing can be very misleading. I think sometimes the feeling of being "in love" is confused with the "newness" feeling of a relationship. Tricky to navigate. The issue of abuse (verbal or otherwise) is a totally different issue. Nobody should have to live with abuse, especially not impressionable children. I'm a Christian too...but I don't think I could recommend faith-based counciling exclusively (just my opinion). Have you asked him how he feels about all this? I would deduce that he probably loves you to stay with you post-infidelity (uh, assuming he knew, I guess). Men , as I'm sure you are well aware, tend to be extremely reluctant to relate their feelings / emotions. I don't really have any practical advice for ya, but I'm pulling for you! Good luck.
  20. I did NOT know that OH had a R&R section!! I'm gonna "fly on the wall" it tonight!!
  21. plain replied to Gracey's topic in Rants & Raves
There are almost too many comorbidities that could possibly have come into play here. The obvious first thoughts are cardiac, pulmonary, and / or immune system co-morbidities. I can totally understand how the family wouldn't want to put out a specific medical history.....but it's true that there almost certainly was something else going on with the guy. Kinda sad, still.
  22. All? I think I see pretty clearly, Nanook. I have never, ever belittled somebody for choosing something other than the band, nor do I believe that the band is the only sensible solution. I type out to newbs all the time (in the intro section and general question section) that the band won't work for everybody. In Mac's terms, I don't think I've drank the Kool-Aide....but.....can I find humor in some of the DS poop stories? Yup. Do I think there are some looney tunes in that DS forum on OH? Yup. So, I'm here (specifically in the R&R section) for entertainment, some debate / arguement, and to just shoot the shit with some folks because I work nights. I don't see the need to get all serious here and proclaim that we're all hypocrits. Lighten up, man.
  23. Yeah, I'm sure there are lots of laid-back DS-ers. More power to them. We're all in the WLS Soup together. All my jabs were directed at the crazies (kool-aide drinkers, to use the excellent terminology of Mac....although I suspect few people remember Jim Jones nowadays) who militantly defend the DS as the come-all be-all of WLS. To be honest, Mac, I haven't seen very many banders here that are quite that aggressively pro-band (or.....maybe I am one of those and that's why I don't see it? That'd be ironic).
  24. Did somebody say "Kool Aide"?!? *bursts through wall* Oh Yeah......
  25. My puggle is SMO. Do they do gastric banding for dogs?
