  1. I haven't had a problem with mushrooms, but I chew them until they are liquified also.
  2. Weigh-In: Jan 03-06~ 296 Goal: NO SUGAR! Weight goal-275 lbs, Some kind of physical activity daily! NSV~ 1. My size 22 jeans are getting looser (2 weeks ago couldn't breathe in them)

  4. Where did you have your surgery? Who was your Dr.? Why did you have the surgery if you don't think 210 is very much? It will get better, but you may need a Dr.'s help...

  9. I didn't have to do the liquid or mushie stage again. I didn't know my band size either until I asked, and then I made sure they told me how much they put in! 7 weeks later and I am finally slowing down and chewing my food! Getting food stuck is the worst kind of pain! Way to go with your weight loss!!!
  10. MY Dr. said that if you don't lose anything for 4 weeks straight to come see about a fill. Surely your Dr. will tell you to quit with the junk too. Are you losing still?
  11. yep, you are right Leatha!!! That large cheese pizza that I could down by myself got me where I was... I stay away from Pizza COMPLETELY!
  12. This is something I have been neglecting. Probably the only rule that I have not followed from my Dr. I really want to start, but with me losing weight left and right, I guess I am lazy and do not want to put that extra effort in. I WILL EXERCISE!!!
  13. My first fill was 2.7 ccs in a 4cc band... Sweet spot for me right now.
  14. My Dr. said absolutely no carbonated beverages. PERIOD. I have heard different from other Dr.'s though. I was a Diet Coke addict also (100oz a day at least) Not a problem to give it up though. All I drink now is Water, and my treat is iced tea.

  16. You can get the Atkins shakes at Wal-Mart. They have 20g of protein... I think these taste the best! My favorite is Royal Chocolate! YUMMY!

  19. 12/29/05 Breakfast: Atkins shake (Royal Chocolate) Lunch: Nachos (6 chips with Beans, ground beef, sour cream, cheese & guacomole) Supper: 1 cup of chicken salad Exercise: Water: 60oz so far!

  21. I was just checking out another WLS website and they have TONS of before and afters of all their Gastric Bypass folks... If you don't have an updated picture, please post... I would love to see all of you and be inspired by lap-banders!!!! There are a lot of great pics on our thread... but I want more! Keep up the great work fellow bandsters!!!
