What do you know about high triglycerides?
Telicia has hit on something. I too had blood work done and my cholesterol was strange ( some good some bad I don't remember it all right now) It was way different then before losing almost 10o lbs. I was shocked seeing as my lifestyle has changed so much. There was another post on here with people talking about similar issues. See what happens when you re-test. Talk about the "storage" issue with your doctor. ** Jeni you look great btw

To fill or not to fill-that is my questions.
To fill or not to fill? I had the same situation just last week. I was still losing pretty good but started having the issue of "seeking food" between meals or just plain getting hungry faster. I was a little confused because I was losing the weight. I went in to talk to my doctor and he noted that yes I was losing weight steady but asked of my hunger. After discussing the being to tight issue and the hunger issue he went ahead and gave me a small fill, 2/10 of a cc. I am amazed at the results! 2/10 is nothing but WOW I could really tell a difference. I feel comfortable and the hunger issue is no more.

I didn't die today!!!
( laughing) I guess you could call this a NSV. I had to go in and get a stress test today and all that blah blah blah. ( just standard stuff) I was dreading it. Talk about being stressed over a stress test! My only thoughts were "I'm gonna die":scared2: When I went in I kinda made a joke to the ladies about knowing CPR and having the oxygen ready for me. My only goal was not to have my heart explode on the treadmill doing 90 miles an hour. I was pleasantly surprised when my heart rate reached 154, they got me off the treadmill and did their after treadmill thing and....I was breathing, as dork as this sounds, it made my day!

feeling fed up.. really need some encouragement pls!
Bless your heart we all hit those day's what seems like weeks that the scale don't move. I know I had 10 days that I played with the same pound up and down...up and down.... I was getting bummed too but then it happened! The scale moved! lol and it moved again! Don't beat yourself up for eating something "not healthy" It happens! To tell you the truth if I told myself I could NEVER eat a sweet or some kinda junk food I don't know how I would handle it :tt2: I think it's ok to eat something "off plan" sometimes. Kill the urge/craving and move on. The band has helped me to just eat a bite or two of it instead of the whole thing! When you start to get down look at where you are now compared to where you were when you started your journey!

a word of advice
I agree everyone is different. I had no pre-opt diet AT ALL. I was eating food the day I came home. Granted it was different then before I went in but there were no limitations put on me. I had no pain or problems. This was just me * ALWAYS listen to YOUR doctor!*

Embarrassed by Weight Loss???
*Not to Embarrass you BUT you look GREAT!!!! * I understand 110%! I posted something back when I had lost 50 lbs and I couldn't "cut myself a break" when people noticed my weight loss and said things to me. Now that I am closer to 100 lbs the comments are daily and some people go on and on about it. I am very thankful but yes embarrassed. Maybe because YES to admit such large numbers lost means you have to admit where you were ( for me). I do chuckle to myself when someone says "OMG you are wasting away to nothing" (at 227 mind you) and others that don't know you look over at you like ??????? lol. When a patient comes in and says "Wow you have lost weight haven't you?" I just smile and respond "Yeah a few pounds" or " Yes a pound or two" The ones that go on and on I kinda move em to the side and make idle chit chat then try to move them along. So weird you posted this....I was just telling my husband this morning that with being heavy came issues...but with losing weight you have a whole new set of issues you are not accustom to.

Waiting on insurance
Hey there :crying: Insurance can be fast or slow. I know this don't help much. I have heard of ppl here that got approved really fast and for me it was really slow. It is worth the wait either way! Good-Luck to you! :wink2:
