  4. Well heck.....so what did you end up eating you shouldn't have? 5 cookies? I am sure it isn't ideal but you did it now don't do it again before surgery! You know why your on this diet so keep that in mind when you feel the need to eat next time! Chew gum!
  5. OMG how rude for ppl to be sending you private messages telling you they don't believe you! Why make this up? Who would be so bored they come to a lap band board and tell stories? Those of you sending private messages with negative comments shame on you! If someone is looking for help or support and you are not buying into what they are saying...say nothing!
  6. Well I don't even know what half that stuff was you ate but ya know what? Tomorrow is another day and you move on. If you feel today was not your best day then think about how you can make tomorrow better! If we slip up we don't quit..we know to make this work we have to change. So today wasn't good for you......there's tomorrow, and the day after, the week after that, soon a year :seeya: Now it's up to you!

  16. Crock Pot Vegetarian Lasagna Recipe 1 container soft tofu 1 container firm or extra firm tofu ¼ cup soy milk ½ tsp garlic powder 2 tsp lemon juice 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped 1 tsp salt 2 10 oz packages frozen spinach, thawed and patted dry 4 cups tomato sauce 1 box lasagna noodles Preparation: In food processor or blender, combine the tofu, soy milk, garlic powder, lemon juice, basil, and salt and process until smooth. Add spinach to this mixture. Place about a cup of the tomato sauce in the bottom of the crock pot or slow cooker. Then place 1/3 of the noodles on top of the sauce, and 1/3 of the tofu and spinach mixture on tip of the noodles. Repeat these layers, being sure to end with sauce on tip. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until noodles are soft. * DO NOT OVER COOK!!! THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE CROCK POT DISHES THAT THE LONGER YOU COOK IT THE BETTER!
  17. This is an OLD Weight Watchers recipe. Very Yummy and if you are counting points they are 1 point per muffin! VERY filling! Six Week Muffins 6 cups Complete Wheat Bran Cereal (Kellogg’s) ½ Box Fiber One Cereal 1 ½ cups sugar (Or equal sugar sub.) 5 Cups Flour (wheat flour works well too) 5 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 4 beaten eggs (Or egg sub) ½ Cup Lighter Bake (I have never been able to find this so I use applause instead) 2 tbs vanilla 2 Quarts Low fat Buttermilk 2 bags raisins (I use cranberries myself) Instructions Mix together all dry ingredients the add others. Mix the night before so batter will soften. Spray muffin pans with non-stick cooking spray. Bake @ 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. *** You can keep the batter in fridge for up to 6 weeks. This makes a LARGE batch and you need a LARGE bowl!! I have done one of two things, I either make half a batch or make the whole thing, bake and freeze them. Nutritional Facts: 99 Calories per muffin 3 grams fiber .5 grams fat I do not have the carb count because this is an OLD weight watchers recipe and I don’t think counting carbs was happening back then J
  18. Welcome! This really is a great place to be to get help and learn!!
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! < I don't have those anymore> lol
  20. Antiseptic Spray 10 drops essential oil 1 cup Water Put in spray bottle and enjoy! I use this in my bathroom when I clean and it can be used as a room/air freshener. I like Lavender but you can play with it and find the one you like. If you Google uses of essential oils it's amazing the things you will discover!
  21. I say eat if your hungry! I stay up very late to and if I am hungry at mid-night I know I will be VERY hungry at 2 a .m.
  22. I don't freak out about it either but I have had a dehydration problem since surgery. I just make a conscious effort to drink, more some days forcing myself to do so . I have noticed I feel much better when I do. Powerade Zero taste great and has no calories , Smart water has a clean taste and has added electrolytes and that G2 the light version of Gatorade is pretty good too!
  23. I wish I got the band when I had less then 100 pounds to loss.
