  3. I am trying to stay away from carbs but sometimes grab some pretzels or crackers to get my salt fix. I do also try an snack on lightly salted almonds or cashews to at least get some protein in.
  4. Sleeved 3/16/16. I feel like my night time cravings are coming back. Im still having a hard time eating Breakfast and some of my old habits of wanting something sweet and salty at night time are starting to creep back in. Any advice on how to minimize the cravings?

  7. 3/16/16 sleeve surgery: high weight before 7 day liquid diet 256lb surgery day: 245lb current weight: 218lb! Down 38lbs!
  8. I have had a few stalls already. 36lbs total 26lbs since surgery. Haven't lost anything this week though. It is frustrating but I keep telling myself, I would not have lasted 6 weeks on a regular diet! Plus I'm doing bad about getting my workouts in!
  9. Hey guys! Weight updates. I feel I'm losing steadily. Currently 220, can't wait to be in Onederland!
  10. I do feel like BMI charts are outdated. I still feel like my ideal weight would be between 140-150.
  11. I had the California roll made with cucumber and a veggie roll. 4 weeks after surgery. I could only eat 4-5 pieces total.
  12. Reading this again and I'm so happy that I went against what my primary care doctor said and my counselor who tried to discourage me because "I had too much going on" I was a month into a new job when I got the approval and I just said enough is enough. 1 month post op and I'm so happy I had this surgery! 30lbs down! And I'm so glad I went with my gut!
  13. I feel like my weight loss has already slowed down. So even losing 25 lbs in the next 2 months seems like it going to be hard. My doctor said I need to be doing at least 4-5 days of cardio!
  14. That's great! I noticed you lost over 100lbs! That's amazing! @
  15. I have not been under 200lb since I was 24. So to me that will be a huge milestone!
  16. I agree with you @ I'm trying not to stress over the numbers. My personal goal for now is to be under the 200lb mark by my next appt in June.
  17. It's weird isn't it? You are so used to seeing yourself a certain way and when the changes start happening it's almost like it's happening to someone else.
  18. Thank you! @@Christinamo7 I'm more shocked at my face. I swear I think I dropped like 3 lbs in my face. You can see my jawline again! I'm cold all the time too btw.
  19. My husband says that I stopped Snoring and sadly he would also sleep in another room sometimes to get some rest.
  20. So if you are 1 month post op (like me) or 1 year post op let's see your hair makeovers! I have been hiding behind my long hair for 3 years now. I used it as my security blanket. Well 30lbs down (with a ways to go) I felt the need to finally chop it off. It really meant a lot to me because I'm gaining my confidence back and I haven't felt confident in a very long time!
  21. I just realized in the before photo I was 246. I'm still trying to find a full body before. I obviously never took them. @@Zoes.Realm I woke up today at 225. I can't wait to get to onederland! I would love to stay in touch with you since we had the same surgery date!
  22. 1 months after surgery. Before 256 1 month post 226. I can see a little bit of a difference.
  23. I think Mainly what bothered me is that people would always say to me that I carried my weight well, and even the counselor I had to go to was trying to convince me I didn't need the surgery. She kept saying that you should accept your body the way it is and not everyone's body is meant to be thin. Well why do I have to accept it? Isn't not accepting the reason most of us are having surgery or had surgery? Imagine we took that approach to other aspects of our life. Like a career or marriage. Would you just want someone to say hey who cares if you hate your life or your job or your marriage just love it and accept it and be happy. I feel like we are being fooled to give in.and now that the fashion industry finally understands they can bank off of plus size clothing while charging double all of a sudden everyone is extremely "accepting".
  24. The food network kinda bother me right now only about 1 month out. So I just switch the channel!
  25. Oh and any time I thought of cheating I would remember my surgeon would threaten to cancel my surgery!
