  1. I really wish I could hit the 100lb loss mark! I need a restart. I’m proud of the fact that I’ve maintained the 95lb loss for over a year now. But I’m still 162lbs and would love to be under 150!
  2. If anyone still follows this thread! We are coming up on 2 years after surgery!
  3. You look great@sammielouwho I would still like to lose about 15lbs myself. But I'm only maintaining which I'm fine with right now, when my kids go back to school in September I'm going to kickstart my workout routine again. I feel like I eat "normal" again. Of course my portions are still half or even 1/4 of what it used to be. But it doesn't feel like a chore anymore. It just feels like my normal self. I think for us at this point it's good to go back to "normal" forms of dieting to lose those last stubborn pounds. Think proteins and greens and cut back on sugars and carbs.
  4. I'm still at 163. Weight loss has halted. But I'm still really happy with my loss.
  5. Just bumping this: How is the journey been! So I completely stalled out 3 month ago. Fluctuating between 160-165. I haven't been working Out. I need some motivation. I want so badly to hit the 100lbs lost mark. But have lost the motivation. Life happens, school life with kids has been hectic. But I would like to lose 10 lbs to jump start my loss again! Any advice?
  6. I'm haven't budged either! But I feel it's because I'm eating more even though I'm exercising. The last bit is always the hardest and I'm trying to lose 20 more pounds! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. HW 256 SW 246 CW 162 94 lbs down! 10 1/2 months out!
  8. That is an amazing loss in 3 months wow! As time goes on what I realize is you have a new "normal"and sadly we still overly critique our bodies. My focus now is toning! I'm trying not to obsess over the number I really want to reach the 100 lb loss by 3/16/17! That's my goal right now! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Thank you everyone! I'm 5'4ish. I started at 256lbs Surgery weight was 246 3/16/16 Current weight 162 1/25/17 94lbs down! I'm a comfortable size 8 right now. I did buy a pair of Michael Kors dress pants the other day that are size 6, but they just seemed to run really big. (Vanity sizing). According to BMI charts I still need to lose 20lbs. I'm still overweight. I know a lot of people say not to read to much into it. But it's hard not to. I did also look at the height to waist chart and I am 1 inch away from the healthy waist line. It's at 33 inches and I need to be at 32 inches. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. So I thought I would update this thread. It's crazy that I'm wearing the same dress. I thought I looked great in the 1st photo. But this journey continues to amaze me! 28lbs less than when I first posted this. Total loss 94lbs at 10 1/2 months hoping to reach 100lbs by 3/16/17 my 1 year! 14. Hey guys we are coming up on our 10 month anniversary!! How's everyone doing?!
  15. Dresses are my fave now. So easy and I bought this for like $30 at the GAP! CW 167
  16. My personal goal weight keeps changing! Anyone else having this issue? HW 256 SW 244 CW 167 Goal weight: ?? I'm happy with how I look currently a size 8. Still losing about 4-5lbs a month. Trying not to think about BMI too much because I don't know if I will look "good" at 140. I cant imagine being 30lbs less than I am not without looking sickly. This is truly a mind game!
  17. Wow! That is amazing!
  18. Single digit jeans! I made a last minute stop to Marshalls and I thought to myself I've been having a crappy week (work related) I need a new pair of jeans. I was rummaging through the 10s. But the 10s I have now we're getting a little bit loose, so I picked up a pair of 8s and thought if they don't fit now they may fit in few weeks. Came home tried them on and they fit! Like a glove and I can't believe it. I have not been in the single digits since maybe my freshman year of high school! I'm down 83lbs. Current weight 173.
  19. I remember going to a boot camp class at my heaviest and leaving literally in tears. No one said anything or even looked at me the wrong way but I couldn't breathe I had asthma and I was so winded doing the routine I had to sit down and use my inhaler. I left in a panic because I was so embarrassed with myself. It was one of the reasons I had the surgery.
  20. I am married with 3 kids. [emoji4]
  21. I am 5'4ish? Lol Current weight 176 I'm excited because my Birthday is coming up I will be 33, and it's going to be the first time in a long time I will have more than 1 or 2 photos without me cringing at the thought of being photographed!
  22. And than some days I look at my calves or arms and say I need to lose more.. I'm happy to say I'm a comfortable size 10 though! I'm eyeing those 8's soon!
  23. Thank you ladies I'm currently 177! So I'm hoping to get to 145 as an ultimate goal, but I already feel like this is what I'm supposed to look like in my mind I don't want to look super skinny, it's really a mental struggle.
