  1. Premier protein chocolate shakes and a lot of soups. I would get chicken noodle, cream of broccoli, tomato bisque and more. That way I wouldn't get bored of it.
  2. Good for you! What is driving me crazy is the Body acceptance trend. Showing all kinds of morbidly obese people naked and saying I'm normal absolutely nothing is wrong with me! You must accept being fat and damnit you must be happy. Well guess what my fat does not make me happy! And NO I will not wear your crop top that enhances my fat. The body acceptance movement is what pushed me to get surgery! 3/16/16. Because I didn't want to be that person anymore, I didn't want to weigh more than my husband who is 6'1 or have asthma or avoid places where I would feel exposed like the lake or a water park. I just said no to MY FAT ACCEPTANCE! [emoji5] sorry rant over!!
  3. Oh thank you! [emoji5] @@Christinamo7
  4. Good to know! Since surgery I couldn't stomach vanilla or strawberry so I just get the chocolate. I will definitely try these!
  5. Bumping this to see if anyone is going through Dr. Steven Hendrick, wanted to see if he has similar goals for them.
  6. what 26lbs down did to my face! My skin looks so much healthier!
  7. I wouldn't even want to be 115! I would like to have some curves! I think it's my fault I asked what the "ideal" weight is for someone my height. But that's not why he expects me to get to.
  8. @@Christinamo7 I guess I never pictured myself getting to 135lbs! I have this fear that even with this surgery I won't get under 200lbs even though I'm following doctors orders. It really is all in my mind!
  9. FYI: The last time I was 135 I was maybe 13 or 14! I have been over 175 since 22 or 23 and I'm currently 32 years old.
  10. So I'm almost 1 month post op on the 16th and I met with my doctor today. He seemed okay with my weight loss 22lbs including my 7 day liquid diet. HW 256 SW 252 CW 229. I'm 5'4. He wants me under 200lbs the next time he sees me in 2 months. I asked what my ideal weight should be and he said 115. I said I would be okay being between 150-160lb. But he would be happy with me between 135-140. Because my BMI would be around 25. I was kind of taken back by that! He doesn't want me eating any type of carbs right now and he said I need to workout at minimum 4 days. So my butt needs to get the gym!
  11. I had surgery Wednesday 3/16/16 went back to work Tuesday 3/22/16 and I was fine. A bit uncomfortable but manageable. I have a desk job. But thankfully I didn't have any complications.
  12. I had a girl who weighs 130lbs tell me that my face looks great but "don't lose too much" I'm started at 256 I'm 229 as of today. Surgery date 3/16/16. I jokingly said "but isn't that the point?"
  13. My start weight on 3/9/16 was 256 before my 7 day liquid diet. Date of surgery 3/16/16 245. Current weight 230. I'm happy with 26 pounds down in 1 month. My energy is high, my skin and nails look better I just feel better!
  14. @@marie honestly I still do a lot of soups because I can get the different flavor I crave like crushed lentil soup, clam chowder, chicken lemon rice soup. It's doesn't feel like I'm trying that way and it tastes good. I also do the starkist tuna kit I can usually eat 1-2 crackers and I eat the rest with a spoon.
  15. @@jennifer320 I started at 256 pre-op and I'm currently at 232. I feel like I'm losing more inches than pounds right now!
  16. I'm doing well. I don't mind the soups so much! It's hard getting all my protein in because the shakes I like pre-surgery just don't taste the same post-surgery! I had a 1 week stall and the pounds are moving down again today. @@narfd
  17. How are you recovering? @@narfd
  18. @@Samara1974 @ I was just reading in women's health it has to do with Brown fat vs white fat. The brown fat helps creates heat in the body, and white fat is where we store energy , so I guess we are burning both fats! I will keep my sweater in my office and my heating pad at home ready! Lol
  19. I just want a little black dress. I don't care where I buy it! Lol well that and any non plus size store. Although I do shop at torrid a lot and they do have cute clothes.
  20. My office temp is at 71 degrees. But ever since I had surgery on 3/16. I have been cold. I actually went home and changed into a sweater. I have lost 20lbs this month. Is it because I'm less padded? Lol J/k.
  21. I'm feeling 100% better now. Moving slow and steady current weight 235.8. My face has already slimmed out a bit. [emoji7] 80lbs. That's amazing @@chrisredjeep!
  22. So I'm 2 days post op. I was having a very hard time keeping anything down. And I realized it was more so from the liquid Vicodin and not that actual procedure. Drank water mostly today had a cup of jello split within a 2 hour time span and some chicken broth in the after noon. Taking baby steps here. Feeling a little bit better. Down another 3 lbs. but I'm really struggling to get my walking in, all I want to do is sleep! I did 5 mins in the morning and 5 in the afternoon.
  23. I'm in my last day of my 7 day liquid diet! I've lost 10lbs! I really am shocked! Start weight (highest) 256lb. Current weight 246lb! Looking forward to tomorrow!
  24. Being asked by my 5 year old why I was "bumpy". [emoji143]???? lol
  25. Thanks! I will make sure to walk walk walk! I start my full liquid diet Wednesday I'm excited and nervous. It's getting closer!
