  1. Haha my husband said the same thing. He's like isn't that the dress everyone was debating about?! Lol guess it's still popular I also feel like an imposter in the standard size stores also. I still feel like people will stare at me and be like whys this girl shopping here? I also have a hard time dressing myself because I really started packing the pounds on at 27 transitioning into wife and mom phase, so now at almost 33 I know that I shouldn't be looking at the junior section even though I think some things are cute but in my head I'm like am I too old for this look? lol
  2. A dress I was able to find in their clearance section in a size 12! I was so excited!! Shopping has been so awkward actually looking in the "standard size" sections and grabbing a size too big instead of too small. It's taking my brain some time to adjust to look for a large or even a medium sometimes instead of 2XL.
  3. I was a 40ddd now I'm a 36ddd 4 months out. I definitely want a reduction and lift!
  4. Uh yea! You look great! I see a huge change! Keep it up! I keep body measurement also, it helps when you don't see the pounds coming off but the inches coming off! I've been terrible myself about working out. I think I'm finally comfortable getting a gym membership now.
  5. One of the main reasons I had the surgery was when my 5 year old daughter asked me innocently why Her and her sisters and my husband's bodies were "straight" and mine was "bumpy". That was my confirmation that I needed to commit to this surgery.
  6. Feeling better makes it all worth it! I am being patient. I know I have a long way up hill right now. I'm surprisingly patient. lol. I'm trying to convince my sister to do this with me but I think she doesn't think she will lose much. I hope she changes her mind. It would be nice to have someone close to go thru this with. That's what this site is great for! Patience is key! I wanted to give up a few times, I felt like I had so many medical clearance requirements and having a full time job, 3 kids 5 and under seemed impossible but I pushed through it. I finally did something for myself and you can do it! Don't get discouraged by the numbers! Feeling better makes it all worth it! I am being patient. I know I have a long way up hill right now. 7. I probably had a 50 inch waist before I actually started measuring! But it's okay. What seemed so far away prepping for 7 months before surgery numerous doctors appointments, losing my old job because if it was all worth it for me! I have never felt better!
