  5. @@fattysosassy I had to and off my toes as well I feel naked!!! My date is 23/07. So many are having surgery in July, it's a popular month! Kate
  6. Congratulations on your journey so far. It's great when we get such good support from our Doctor's too.. Mine have been amazing as well, very supportive and quick to do what was needed. Your progression seems ideal, I only hope and pray i can do the same after my surgery on Thursday of next week (23/07) Keep Smiling! Kate
  7. I am having 3 weeks off and longer if I need it. I have a stressful job and won't go back until I know I can handle the level of work I am used to... so thinking about it, maybe 2019 lol. Keep smiling Kate
  8. I have tried MoM, Senna, Smooth Move Tea, Lactulose and still haven't gone. I was never regular anyway and I am only on the pre op diet. I am drinking over the amount of Water required. In 14 days I have been twice and that wasn't a lot. I used to have colonics years ago. Has anyone tried that to help? Kate
  9. Congratulations on staying strong at the wedding and best of luck and good healing for the surgery Kate
  10. @@RecreatingChristy http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/12/29/9-best-weight-loss-apps/ I use My Fitness Pal. Kate
  11. Have you asked your NUT? Everyone seems to be told different things, depending on where they are and who's doing the op. Hope you feel better soon Kate
  12. I got Centrum liquid off Amazon for the first 2 months and have started taking it now as tablets make me feel sick whilst on the pre op diet. My surgeon has suggested Centrum Advanced for later and as I have used Centrum before with no issues, I will stick with them. The liquid vitamins taste nice, no aftertaste and go down well. Its about £20 for a months worth. I will be getting my B12 injections at the GP Surgery every 3 months. Nice to see you are home and well @@chrisredjeep
  13. I am about to start day 14 and have been just on liquids (my choice). I think I am entering the serious/silly stage, one minute im cracking daft jokes and even laughing at myself and the next I am thinking about doing a new will @@AWD12368 I agree... We CAN do this!! best wishes on your journey and nice to meet you. Kate
  14. Having Adam Levine here to tend to my every whim. Sorry!! daydreaming again
  15. My body ate my thyroid up in 1993 and for the past 22 years I have been overweight and adding every year. When my last son was born (he weighed 13llbs) I swore I would lose weight as he was going to be the last child (I have four sons) - I was NEVER going to go through that again lol. Anyway, I would lose weight, put it back on, lose weight and put it back on blah blah. My knees hurt, my back hurts and I can’t paint my own toenails Like @@ShrinkingPeach, I remarried nearly 4 years ago after being with my first hubby 25 years. My husband is totally different than my first, he’s very supportive and encouraging and watched me lose 85llbs in 2013 to only slowly put it all back on. I want to be around with him for a very long time and to be able to do the things he loves to do too, which my weight (and mind) has always hindered me from doing. So in 5 days I am being sleeved Autumn of 2016 we will be flying to Canada and having 3 weeks traveling Alberta and BC, on a Harley. Kate
  16. I won't be driving for at least two weeks out of choice. If I need anything, I am going to have to walk to get it although I wouldn't have too walk far. @@Jim in Utah - we are being sleeved on the same day! I hope everything goes well for you, please keep posting and let us know how you get on. Kate
  17. This must be such a stressful time for you, I really do hope its sorted out soon and you get it booked. We can't get it via insurance here in England, its either National Health Service or private. I was told I would have to wait 3 years to have it done on the NHS so I am going down the private route, which has been stress free. I can't imagine having to go through all of what you do to get the surgery !! Hugs Kate
  18. Understand where you are coming from and won't it just !! Kate
  19. Are you really feeling hungry or are you missing eating food..? Congratulations btw and welcome to the forums!! Kate
  20. I only buy FAGE 0% Greek yogurt. I eat it pretty much daily. In fact, I buy it by the case from Whole Foods. (6 pts @ $6.99ea - 10% case discount). I add it to my Protein shakes in the morning, use it instead of sour cream and even as a mayo replacement. I like that the only ingredients are milk and yogurt cultures. Nutrition breakdown is Calories 130, Fat 0, Carbs 9gm, Protein 23gm, Sugar 9gm per cup. As for add ins, I use pretty much anything on hand; fresh fruit, almond butter, a drizzle of raw honey, and on the rare occasion I buy flavored protein powder, I'll add a scoop of that and mix with the yogurt and then sit in the fridge for a bit to chill to the consistency of pudding. Me too, I find it the best and it's really lovely : Typical Values Typical Values per 100g Energy 243 kJ (57 kcal) Fat 0 g of which saturates 0 g Carbohydrate 4 g of which sugars 4 g Protein 10.3 g Salt 0.1 g Calcium 120 mg % R.D.A.* 15% *Recommended Daily Allowance -
