  1. I use centrum advanced one which melt in the mouth. My bloods have been excellent.
  2. You need to really work towards getting a minimum of 60g of protein if you can Sam. I know it's hard early on but it's vital.
  3. @@taysidebell Nice to meet you and congratulations on such a great weight loss!
  4. Amazing! Congratulations, you look fantastic. I really enjoyed your post. I can relate to the nose running! I carry tissues round with me all the time
  5. I am still on chewable Vitamins but my other tablets re quite small and have never been an issue. I stuck to the suggested 3 months of not taking tablets, rather liquids or ones that melt in the mouth.

  8. I have just been to Cuba on holiday and was worried about getting enough protein. I had eggs every morning with a bit of ham and cheese which set me up for the day. Lunch was fish or chicken and so was dinner. I took low carb protein bars in case it was difficult getting enough protein in. In fact it was fine.
  9. Welcome to the forums! I can't help with insurance but just wanted to say hello and enjoy
  10. I feel the cold so much more now than before. Now I wear gloves when I go out, I bought a very warm coat and have the heating on much earlier than I would. Isn't it a fact that your metabolism works harder when you are cold
  11. It’s normal to be nervous before the surgery, I think we all go through the questioning in our heads. Is this right for me? Will it be painful? How am I going to cope with so little food in the first few months? And on and on. However we all get through it and I can honestly say that it’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I found the whole thing easier than I thought it would be. I am quite strict with myself 98% of the time and things have been smooth most of the time. Every day is better than the day before, always remember that. Sip sip sip and walk walk walk. That's all you need t remember for the first few days. Believe in yourself and your inner strength, you CAN do it. Make sure you come here for support and let us know how things go!!
  12. Contact your team or PCP and ask advice or get yourself to the Doctors!
  13. It does take a while... all I can say is I'm 4 months out now and my scars have faded to hardly anything.
  14. Congratulations on the surgery and seems like you have found the right place. Lots of good people here with plenty of advice and experience. Welcome and Enjoy
  15. Congratulations ! It's a wonderful feeling isn't it
