  1. I have a 24oz bottle of cordial (mainly water with a touch of sugar free juice) whilst driving to work. Usually after an hour or so I have a 24oz protein latte and that often sees me through to lunch. With the latte it's a double bonus of fluid and 15g of protein.
  2. Thanks for sharing. It's so important to keep to the plan no matter how far you are out.
  3. Probably didn't make you laugh but it did make me.
  4. It's best to follow your surgeons advice but I was told that it can increase acid in the stomach and be a contributing factor to having a higher risk of getting an ulcer
  5. Thank you Babbs... soon onto maintenance which is the part I'm really dreading! Thanks tera and muzical

  10. @@Craig Wildi What a fantastic New Years present to yourself It’s normal to be nervous before the surgery, I think we all go through the questioning in our heads. Is this right for me? Will it be painful? How am I going to cope with so little food in the first few months? And on and on. However we all get through it and I can honestly say that it’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Believe in yourself and your inner strength, you CAN do it. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  11. @@3283 Centrum chewable... I get mine from Tescos when they are 3 for 2. My bloods have always been good.
  12. Ice if you can tolarate it but swallow when chewed to bits.
  13. Two weeks of liquids then 2 weeks of pureed. So many variations of this!!
  14. Congratulations at making such a good start with your weight loss. That's amazing. I agree that the liver diet is a good way to kick start this, I know I was glad that I did it as it got me into the frame of mind I needed after the surgery. Keep us updated on how things are going for you.
  15. Congrats on the surgery! I was off work for four weeks and should have really stayed off six. I do have a stressful job which involves being in and out of the car a few times a day but I didn't really think I would be so exhausted even in week four. I have a feeling if I had had a desk job I would have been as tired. Be careful with yourself, it's very early days. When I have my tummy tuck etc I am having six weeks off!!
  16. Congratulations !! .. each day will be better than the day before. Best wishes for a speedy recovery
  17. Really interesting to read so thank you for sharing
