  6. My first night after been sleeved was very rough, but things will get better. Congratulations on your big new beginning.
  7. @@Social Introvert I feel amazing. I can up 5 flights of stairs without getting tired, I can also jog 5 miles. I still have to get used to the idea that I'm no longer 275 lbs, but info feel great.
  8. Thats the reason my surgeon told me to start the iron at week #3 because it tends to be kind of heavy for the new stomach and you may vomit. As far as I know the bariatric advantage the iron is separate, there is another company that everything comes in one chewable tablet if I'm not mistaken it's called bariatric fusion.

  10. In January when I started the process I was 275lbs with the of my PCP and surgeon I lost around 10-12lbs pounds before starting the pre-op diet. After pre-op diet I lost 20-21lbs and went into surgery around 246. As of today I am 222lbs that's a total of 53 pounds.

  13. Hey guys I'm also new to the forum. I am post-op. I was sleeved 6 weeks ago. The changes in my life are amazing. If there's anything that I can help you with I'm more than happy to. Wishing you both the best.
  14. I have not gone out yet but when or if I do I'll keep these helpful tips in mind.
  15. I use total lean (I like chocolate flavor) form GNC. 2 scoops, 8 oz of skim milk 1 spoon of instant coffee and 3-4 cubes of ice, it taste very good.
  16. Congrats guys on this amazing decision. Best of luck.
  17. I started taking a multivitamin 3-4 months prior to surgery and stop taking them a week before surgery. The bariatric advantage I started like a week after surgery.
  18. I would go with your NUT. I'm 6 weeks post-op and last time I saw my NUT she told me my protein intake for now it's ok between 50-60 but it'll increase as I progress.
  19. I'm just 6 weeks post-op, but things that are too sweet I cannot tolerate.
  20. Yes, I am taking all the vitamins. I'm taking bariatric advantage for now.
  21. I haven't had any issues. My surgeon recommended me to start the iron at the 2.5- 3 weeks mark.
