    One thing I can say is there are certain foods you can eat alot more of than others. I think someone referred to them as slider foods. They are always the empty foods I should not be eating in my experience. Like crackers. I was told I could have wheat thins and soon realized I could eat alot of crackers. Weak moment. Lol. If I eat Protein foods like chicken etc I can only eat about 3 oz

    My NUT said to add back in carbs. Best decision I ever made. I have about 100 grams a day and losing steadily. Carbs are not the enemy of chose the right ones.

    Syntrax Nectar fuzzy navel was the only shake I could tolerate mixed with Water. It was and still is a life saver. The only other one I like is my click coffee Protein mixed with milk. I have also mixed half milk and half water and it's still good. I like it because it's not too sweet

    Considering what you have been through of think you are doing great. Just try to do something for yourself each week that doesn't include food. I have a pretty stressful hub so I get a massage once a week.

    I agree with the others on not over packing. I had to stay 2 nights. You will wear a hospital gown the entire time. I wore the same outfit into the hospital that I did out of the hospital. Lip balm and gas x strips were priceless. I will also highly recommend ear plugs. The nurses station was super loud and right outside my door. Everything else the hospital provided

    Hello! I am also June 8th. I am also in a stall right now. I have lost 30 pounds so far. Not complaining. I am getting a little bored with my food though.

    I just had my 8 week check up today and I return to work on Monday. My NUT said weight loss percentage was good and not to worry too much about the scale. She also said under t0 grams of carbs was too low. She also said over the next couple mo,the to increase calories to 1100. It's always a little scary but I will try. I went for fun today to try on clothing and I am down 2 sizes. It felt good to try on things I liked that for. I highly recommend it even if you don't buy anything. It does lift the spirits up!

    I am on my week 8 and Pasta would not be something I would eat at this point, that's just me though. I made lean ground turkey with onions and black olives in marinara sauce and ate that without the pasta. It was really good and satisfying.

    Yes you can do cross fit but unless you are used to working out I would say be careful. I have seen people get injured. Just modify and make sure the instructors or trainers are attentive.

    How do you keep carbs under 30 grams? I find it almost impossible to do. Usually I am between 50 and 70.

    Great comments. I think the advice to seek couceling is a great idea. I know for me my biggest worry is gaining weight back. I think that is normal considering I have done so many diets and not been successful keeping weight off. I also know this process to get surgery is a lot to go through. Especially the expense. I would never want to go back or regress.

    I refused to go anywhere to eat until I passed the 6 week mark so I applaud your bravery. There are good choices out there you just have to research. The o,ly food I found harder to find a healthy choice at was Mexican.

    Slider foods is the perfect way to describe it. I had to get rid of wheat thins for that reason
