Weight loss and weight redistribution

Hi all,

So I was sleeved 1.5 weeks ago. I tend to be a pear shape and when I lose weight it goes from the top. I feel like I'm losing starting at the bottom half, with the belly now seemingly bigger over thigh area.

Anyone experience this post sleeve? I'm not complaining about thigh reduction but just wondering if it's a figment of my imagination or not.

Thanks

Rita

We have absolutely no control over where we store fat and how we lose it. I also carry most of my weight in my lower body and figured my legs would be the last to go. I have actually seen changes all over my body. What is weird for me is that I have a lot of fluid in my legs and my right leg is much smaller now than my left. I was a bit lopsided before surgery and now there is a much more drastic difference.
