  1. Yeah I stalled at 3 weeks too. It lasted for 10 days. Thank god that's over. Hang in there it's normal
  2. I obviously am tired, don't have my glasses on and can't type. Please excuse the bad spelling etc. Lol
  3. It is normal for some people to not like thectastecof water after surgery. For me it tastes like chemicals. I simply add crystal light or something like that. My but says it usually will go away in a couple months
  4. I will be honest, I just can't eat that low on carbs. I am losing about half a pound to a pound a day right now. My carbs are still watched closely but I Am usually around 70 a day. This is your program and you have to stick to what works for you. I make sure my carbs are coming from good sources and not crackers or something like that. I fell into the cracker trap for awhile and have since broken that habit.
  5. I call it the wave. It happens. Your stomach is still healing. I am at 7 weeks and I still get it once in a while
  6. I felt exactly the same way at around the same time. Someone else suggested that it might be acid and it was! Don't get me wrong...sometimes you are hungry. Make sure you are choosing protein rich foods. It will get better I promise. I am on my 7 week mark in a few days and I feel less hungry now than I did the first few weeks
  7. I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks each day. Some days I feel like I don't need the snacks. As long as I am getting to my protein goal then I skip it
  8. It does get better, I felt horrible for the first week and then it slowly got better
  9. Okay here is the list. Email soapandcandlequeen@msn.com your name, address and what you would like. I will be going to the post office on Monday. 10. Oh btw, I won't charge you. I just ask that at some point in this journey you just pay it forward to someone else.
  11. Awesome everyone. I will post what I have tomorrow. I was getting all ready today. After that I will ask you to email me your addresses and I can get them out to you.
  12. I just looked last night and it's the beans! I am going to quit that
  13. If you don't drink milk I would suggest adding a scoop of unflavored protein to your shake. It would give you more calories and protein
  14. I just know I have a good routine now and don't see myself using them. I would hate them to go to waste.
  15. Yeah me too. I think I am doing ok but it's clear that some of my choices must be more carbs than I thought. It must be the fruit, I usually have at least 1 fruit serving a day.
  16. I got to thinking. I ordered tons of samples from syntrax, body nutrition and injury that I have never used and are unopened. I was thinking there may be some more people out there like me and would it be a good idea to share with those that need samples or want them? I will go through and catalog what I have and live st it here. If someone wants it I can send it out. What does everyone think?
  17. Syntrax nectar fuzzy navel was the only protein I could tolerate in water. My click vanilla latte is the one I use most often mixed in milk. The other ones were just too sweet after surgery. I think the coffee flavor cuts the sweetness down. Don't get too much because your taste will most likely change. I bought too much and now they just sit there. I have a whole run of isopure unflavored I used once and tons of samples left.
  18. I am on week six and introducing new foods now. I can pretty much eat anything within reason at 8 weeks
  19. You may have eaten too fast and too much. It happens to me once in a while. It hurts super bad and feels like a lump i, my chest. Does yours feel like that too?
  20. I call it the wave. It was a weird sensation. I agree that it's probably part of the healing process
  21. I used protein soups and 91st popsicles That was supposed to say sugar free popsicles. Lol
  22. My surgeon did not quite an exact number. He did say that I would lose the majority of my excess weight in the first 12 months
  23. How do you keep carbs under 30 grams? I find it almost impossible to do. Usually I am between 50 and 70.
